  1. Past hour
  2. I watched the 2nd Half of their game at Bolton last night , plenty of spirit at Wednesday ! Absolutely nothing here , ..
  3. Thanks for everything! Lasted longer than most would have.
  4. Sorry for mentioning the war, but do we have any explanation yet as to how we've ended up with various versions of the minutes and how the sanitised version were apparently initially agreed with the Club?
  5. This is exactly the ring of Steel surrounding Venkys that I refer to...individuals more than prepared to do their bidding for remuneration. They are not fans of the Club, they dont care of the consequences.
  6. After some poor results, Rovers will likely be active in the transfer window before it shuts. One of their reported targets, Nectarios Triantis, could now be available with just a couple of weeks remaining in the window. According to Football Insider, Sunderland are ready to let Triantis leave the club, whether on loan or permanently. Triantis was given an opportunity to impress during pre-season by boss Regis Le Bris. ADVERTISEMENT ´ However, after key signings, both at centre-back and in midfield, Triantis does not have an immediate future with the Black Cats. Triantis had a brilliant loan spell in Scotland last season with Hibernian. Derby County have been heavily linked with Triantis too this summer, but former Rovers boss John Eustace has quashed those rumours. MLS side Minnesota United are also keen, while his former side Hibernian have been priced out of a deal.
  7. https://eflanalysis.com/news/truth-behind-lewis-travis-and-blackburn-rovers-fallout-emerges-as-derby-county-circle/ Yet, the situation involving Travis will be on the minds of everyone at Pride Park, especially after Ismael told the media that the midfielder wants to leave Blackburn, with the Lancashire Telegraph reporting that the 27-year-old’s camp were not happy with those comments. He wanted to play against West Brom last weekend, even though Derby were interested in him, and he is keen to ensure that he gives his all until he does depart – however, he does not want to exit ‘through the back door’. The report also states that the Rams have made an offer that is ‘life-changing’ and with just a year left on his contract at Ewood Park, he is keen for a new challenge but the situation must be handled correctly.
  8. While you are waiting in the queue on the phone for the ticket office the club is still advertising tickets for women's games in the championship.
  9. We might have to wait a few years for players to retire and be doing the podcast rounds (as has happened in recent years with regard's to Coyle's time), but very, very intrigued to see what stories come out about this period at the club. The whole setup is completely rotten with not even a glimmer of optimism right now.
  10. I was concentrating on more recent events. I forgot having to sell a generational talent at a knockdown fee (Wharton) to keep the lights on.
  11. ....But we could be Bury etc, etc, etc.
  12. Oh great. We aren't Sheffield Wednesday. Yippee. That said, their players showed a lot more heart and spirit against Leicester than we did against West Brom.
  13. This above, the Portuguese player's,Kean and his bonuses for relegation,Coyle...the list seems endless.
  14. That is a terrible situation that Wednesday find themselves in, however, it just means that they are closer to the light at the end of the tunnel and being rid of their terrible owner Our owners, by doing bare minimum whilst clinging on for dear life, will drag us down for years yet
  15. If you're saying that..... we must be.
  16. It would probably only take a 500k bid for us to sell Tronstad too
  17. So that's our Captain and Vice Captain about to jump the sinking ship. "Get behind the lads, FFS."
  18. It's all relative i guess. It isn't great and the culture has changed dramatically. But we could have our stand closed and our players not paid for months, so our key players tear our contracts up and go to Wrexham et al on a free leaving our time full of academy players under 21 who play in the Northern Counties league.
  19. That's an absolute steal! what day do you get this 10% February 29th?
  20. No sight of a right winger then? But Hyam now openly for sale. Quelle surprise.
  21. There's a risk involved here as well, playing 46 Championship matches plus cup football and training sessions with no job security past the next (less than) twelve months. Hyam is a standard level Championship defender who just had a great season compared to the one before. Adjusted for inflation and put a promotion bonus clause in there and it shouldn't be too hard to sign.
  22. We cant allow this situation to continue any longer or this once great Club just Crashes and Burns for good.
  23. He probably had a "shut up" clause in his contract signed in 2022.
  24. On all available evidence, we looked fucked.
