  1. Past hour
  2. Sorry if this has already been answered but is Bradford the only time Lewis Miller has played centre back in a back four in his professional career? My trawl through transfermarkt and Footmob seems to suggest so
  3. Can see another clear out next summer, Ohashi, Toth, Cantwell, Gueye, McLoughlin, Kargbo, Pickering, Carter and Scott Wharton will have a year left come the end of the season. Also add Ryan hedges to the list, worrying if we can’t extend Wharton and Hedges contracts with all due respect
  4. The commercial department must be having a laugh… who buys and wants to wear this stuff? make football merchandise look like something you’d actually want to wear rather than wear when painting/plastering, and decent quality - no gimmicks or big shite logos or poor humour attempts etc… other clubs often do it so much better; things that people will actually wear casually and therefore buy. This is Poundland level crap
  5. Today
  6. VI is being either delusional or dishonest in saying that this summer's dire contracts situation will not be repeated next summer. As long as this apparent £10k pw wage cap is in place, players with currently less than 2 years remaining will not extend. So next summer it's goodbye to Cantwell, Carter, Toth, Kargbo as well as Tyjon, Tronstad and Hedges. No worries then.
  7. Edit - read on and beaten to it… great minds
  8. Would love a Bullseye themed kit for Jim Bowen…. IIIIN ONE - Pears, oh
  9. The lad from Birmingham will cover RB and CM. Miller will cover RB and CB. He looks like Carter at RB to me - a big, strong, lanky athlete (i.e. a CB playing RB).
  10. We'll see how good he is this season in Travis's absence. Im not expecting a great deal, probably a repeat of the last time Travis was absent 2 seasons ago. At best.
  11. Bayes is probably not aware of the latest hearing would be my guess. Think Wilesden has summarised it as the need to provide a guarantee when sending funds over has been removed and the maximum they can be fined is £7.7m No doubt he'll correct me if Im wrong.
  12. I haven't looked at the ticket categories but had noticed no jacks kitchen as i go in there if staying over...i really hope they do put an offer but it doesn't look good if it's listed as cat A
  13. atleast Toth can say he stopped a shot from Ronaldo
  14. Thanks for you help Herbie. Odered and sent USABlue - Lets see if it arrives before the event. 👍
  15. Sorry about this, I don't think I understand! Is this Court mullarkey over and done with following the removal of the guarantee condition? Is that the end of it? Or is there more Court shenanigans to follow? And if so when? Reason is that I've just listened to Andy Bayes talking on line and he gave the impression that this was still ongoing. Alongside that absolutely nothing has been reported about it in the local press (with apologies if I've missed it). Thanks again Wilsden or indeed anyone else who can clarify.
  16. It is listed as a category A game for tickets and a Platinum game for hospitality. Jacks Kitchen is not available for a ‘pie and a pint’ as they are looking at the potential of using the lounge for hospitality sales. Maybe the club will pull back and realise the only way fans will turn up is to have a decent ticket offer.
  17. They haven't announced the derby ticket price yet have they,or have i messed it? Surely it's going to be £18.75 though like the sheff utd game was a few years back
  18. You forgot the 'range' of 'Macron' anniversary merchandise released a couple of weeks ago, including these two classics Simply laughable stuff.
  19. Whatever the manner/reason for his departure, I'm going to miss Tronstad ☹️
  20. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2025/sep/07/roman-abramovich-under-investigation-jersey-corruption-money-laundering-claims
  21. Then a contract extension for Forshaw. It's easy this head of football malarky.
  22. 800 up and its bails off for the night and Trondstad off in January to Scandinavia.
  23. I have always thought this was the sort of reason for our owners refusing point blank to listen to any offers. History tells us that Abramovich was unlikely to have sold Chelsea, had he not been forced to do so and he we now have these allegations coming to light. There is a story in todays Guardian about him being under investigation for claims of corruption and money laundering, yet he seemed to get through the FA fit and proper test, with no problems. Seeing what we have with Rovers takeover and listening to some of the threats made in the past and more recently to people, who dared to question the regime, it strikes me that there is something sinister to hide at Rovers too. The badly advised line has had it's time, yet they still refuse to entertain the merest sniff of an offer to buy, which in my opinion, is due to fear of what is now buried out of sight. I am sure like with Chelsea it would come to light, if a proper investigation took place or if due diligence, was applied to the accounts and a deep dive was carried out, but that's just my opinion on it.
  24. Montgomery plays rb for Scotland u21s / TGH can play right back - so miller won’t likely be required there if Carter is injured so he can cover the cb if required rb - alebiosu miller Montgomery TGH Cb - Carter Wharton McLaughlin miller cm - tronstad Tavares Montgomery Baradji forshaw the numbers are there not to mention academy players under a certain age who don’t need registered in the 25 for me it’s all about the lack of quality as opposed to numbers
  25. But its about quality AND numbers. You say Miller can cover centre back. But hes also covering right back. He cant cover them both if we have injuries in both.
