  1. Past hour
  2. We have a few players already in that category !
  3. Away to Cheadle Town stingers this weekend - we suffered a 2-0 loss against them. This was our first game in this new league. They sit 4th having Won 7 Drawn 1 and Lost 2
  4. Thought this also. Just wonder if Waggott is sat watching this unfold laughing his bollox off. Sweet revenge for when they hung him out to dry before the media regarding the 'we listened to Steve and cheap tickets dont work' blame game.He looked far from happy imo.
  5. Johnny “ Guitar “ Watson - Gangster Of Love
  6. I’m not sure he’s ready to play at this level.
  7. As I said yesterday I dont really know.
  8. Oh I agree, my views on him have been made clear many times. Just from the perspective of the remaining regime, thrashing around as they are, I imagine things were much much easier for them when they had the shield of a Waggott there to absorb the boos and complaints and a Mowbray type figure to sit in the dugout and deliver competent results whilst tolerating their rubbish. Now without those two or even a JDT / Eustace to diver attention to results they're struggling big time.
  9. Read today regular 'welfare breaks' just increased long enough to fit adverts in during the game..
  10. Don't think they were bots as such but there were definitely some people who had clearly been paid to be Pro-Venkys, ultra positive about the club early in the season. Remember having an "argument" with one about Eustace being a better manager than VI. He was on my case a lot when Derby were below us but dropped off quickly after Derby got their act together.
  11. You're mistakenly assuming Venky's cared enough to micromanage Waggott's every decision. He could have gone down a completely different route and tried to grow the Club long term to meet his financial targets but took the exact opposite strategy of trying to steadily squeeze more and more money out of an ever diminishing fan base. Every Club he's been at temporarily tanked under his stewardship then recovered thereafter. More baffling attempts from you to exonerate anyone other than the owners from any blame whatsoever.
  12. I think our club has 'gone' and we are drifting aimlessly into oblivion where we will disappear with barely a whimper. Sad but true. It seems our supporters don't have the stomach for a fight and apathy reigns supreme. IMO, the only answer and perhaps catalyst for change is for all to keep away from Ewood and let the mass of empty seats speak for itself
  13. We debated all that before and dont want to get into another debate about kick offs, etc, etc as it as nothing with my original point about FIFA decision to put their ticket prices for England fan members(and other nations) over 4 times the price compare to the Qatar world cup @roversfan99
  14. only if San Diego don't trigger their purchase option and cancel his loan early, and even if they do that, he cannot play for Rovers until January
  15. EFL podcast includes piece about the pitch from 17.24 for around 5minutes. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0mmrq5g
  16. Venkys are the downsizing architecht of our destruction and it began well before Waggott came in. Yet more baffling deflection.
  17. Today
  18. Was a general comment about the state of football. Specific to World Cups, also consider expanding the tournament diluting the quality for a money grab and selling out to countries with shameful human rights records.
  19. Is there anyone travelling to the game tomorrow morning that wouldn't mind speaking to talksport?
  20. Let's have it right, Waggott was the penny pinching, downsizing architect of our destruction. I never bought a single word of his bullshit personally but just because he was arguably slightly better at putting the thinnest veneer of respectability on things, that doesn't mean that in reality things are any worse now than before. We're just continuing on apace down the road to oblivion he set us on.
  21. Duru back off loan to cover Alebiosu ?
  22. I don't think I'll read the Lancashire Telegraph again, it stated last week, that Alebiosu wasn't in the final squad. I think they make it up as they go along.
  23. I would even go as far as to say they are missing Waggott's 'steady hand' on the rudder That's not to say that slippery Steve was a suitable manager of the club or representative of it, but he at least had some know-how and PR abilities which enabled him to pacify the fanbase and dilute anger quite effectively. A human shield who was quite skilled in calming things down and giving people answers (even if nothing actually happened from there). Since he exited the scene the remaining lot haven't got close to his skills and so it has rapidly descended into conflict because everyone can see what they are really like down there now.
  24. Looking at the three fixtures of Sheff W Oxford Pompey I would have preferred 9 but accepted 7 points from those matches, given the unpredictability of the division. The fact that we've now only got one point from them because the replay is probably months off, is making me panic. Tomorrow is the toughest match of those three and if we don't win we're sucked right back in. That game in hand will linger over us for ages now and nothing is guaranteed from it. That game in hand against Wednesday might come when we're in real trouble and there will be so much pressure on it. The last 15 years has shown that we never turn up under pressure. I have a feeling tomorrow will be an ugly draw, 0-0 or 1-1. Not great for either side.
  25. More £££ on his value for the inevitable sale. Pasha will be pleased. Great achievement for him though and fully deserved after his form this year. Wish him well.
  26. Imo there's no way at all they havent already done that on the LT.
