  1. Past hour
  2. Chaddy, if we have spent £10m, and bought in £12m, then we gave spent nothing. Surely you understand that?
  3. There was an initial plan to actually do something quite interesting with this idea, but it seems like it was too much effort. my best guess is Old Etonians were promised something ages ago and we are obligated to make a game happen, so very recently David Dunn has been tasked with cobbling a team together. Shoehorning it on to the end of the Derby game means none of the staff at Ewood have to work an extra day. Suits them, suits Suhail. They are all delighted they don’t have to do Sundays as the women’s team has been bombed off to Clitheroe, and that we only had one pesky league cup game.
  4. Who is celebrating a draw? No one just you misusing what people have said to suit your own opinion
  5. Is your a question serious one really JHRover? You know the answer already. When you signed a number of overseas players and lose a few experience like Hyam and Travis. You fully expect a drop off in results and performance whilst new players settle in, get used to how we play and what their role is, etc. Also you factor that certain experience players want to move on would you dont
  6. Through all the years I've played football, it doesn't bother me if people aren't that good but a lack of effort is completely unacceptable. When you're talking about professionals who get paid £10k per week, effort is the bare minimum required. He was rightly called out for his lack of effort.
  7. It is true we spend the most in a window we have since we signed Armstrong and BBD in the same window. This is true isn't yet people are spinning into something I've never said
  8. Despite Gueye’s height he’s not very good with his head.
  9. The answer was, still is and will always have been Bilbao at home during an off week with a combination of ex players, managers and current players. But that would have cost money.
  10. Or if you nick £100 out of a blokes wallet and spend £70 of it, you are up on the deal and have stitched someone up.
  11. I think if you are being criticised for your performance then youve got more of a justification to give a bit back. If you were criticised for a lack of effort and desire then you havent really got a leg to stand on.
  12. Evidence of our demise example 5000. Celebrating a home draw with Stoke as a good point.
  13. One thing I've just remembered. What on earth are our goal kicks about?
  14. Today
  15. Yes that what people were saying before yesterday game. And we got a good point
  16. That has never stopped our management.
  17. Whatever we did or didn't spend how about we ask ourselves why, after spending 'so much', have we deteriorated so much? Eustace and JDT both had us competing in and around the play offs without spending much. Now after a 'big spend' as you seem to consider it we've dropped into a side that looks nailed on for best case a long struggle against relegation. Why? Maybe reported transfer fees is only a very small component of this particularly when selling proven quality for more and slashing wages into League One levels.
  18. They've won 1, in Wilder's first game back....but yeah, perfect time to play Charity Rovers.
  19. Planning to put together Issue 114 of the only Rovers one still running over the international break – please email roversfanzine@gmail.com with any submissions before the end of next weekend. Cheers
  20. Kargbo looked like he was about to cry when he came off the pitch at the end. Also zero celebration when he scored. I know he took some stick for his howler in the week but it seemed a strange reaction.
  21. Me neither. I just see him as complicit in the goings on with Gestede and Pasha and what is said behind closed doors and in public are the total opposite.
  22. Nobody is ‘mixing up’ what you said. You used the words that it was our most ‘expensive’ window in years… it wasn’t. We bought in more than we spent which makes it the fucking opposite of expensive!! If I go for a night out and win £100 on a fruit machine in the first pub I go to and then spend £70, I’ve not had an ‘expensive’ night have I.
  23. With Gueyes height, he'd be perfect for Millers long throws, if he can improve his game.
