  1. Past hour
  2. Bet the lads and lasses in Adelaide and La Paz can't wait to settle down to watch Hull and Rovers slog it out. The magic of the Cup... Can anyone remember / does anyone know if the FA Cup ties are officially audio broadcast by Rovers? Don't have TNT and not in Lancs...
  3. They most likely will finish ahead of us but currently they are 5 points ahead of us he Is hardly completely wrong yet
  4. only 1 change FFS. Tongue for Atkinson. We have backed Bashir for 3 years and said he would be number 1 spinner in the ashes, now not playing. I would have drop Pope for Bashir and Potts for Carse
  5. This depends how a “phased, strategic boycott” is going to work (as it’s worded on X). You will get a number of people prepared to miss one game. You will not get them prepared to miss several. You may get people to stop spending on the concourse for certain games etc… but not consistently. And the minute this appears to fails you almost give the club a mandate to carry on as is.
  6. Gene Chandler - Duke Of Earl
  7. Well done. Professional, to the point and putting across the exact message that needs to be put across. Unfortunately I think those willing to boycott are basically already unofficially doing so, even if they aren't calling it boycotting, but it's right to put the call out anyway. There's a difference between valuing the club as a whole and only valuing being a supporter of a club.
  8. Bob And Earl - Harlem Shuffle
  9. Have the main press been notified and willing to pick it up and publish?
  10. Being versatile in a pub league sadly doesn't transfer into the toughest league in Europe. He's so out of his depth at LWB here he needs armbands.
  11. Prefab Sprout - Doo Wap In Harlem
  12. Ill hold my hands up at the end of the season if Im wrong.
  13. Interesting interview with Lyle Taylor on Under the Cosh, skip forward to 50mins. Talking about their Belgian owner, to paraphrase: "It was easier to sell a League One club than it was to sell a Championship club, because he didn't to want to blow the wages up. He didn't want to pay big money. I'm (the owner) going to keep this on a League One budget." We can all but dream...
  14. “ His primary position is a winger – a number seven or 11 – but he is able to be flexible and can also play as a wing-back and a full-back.” says Val “No he can’t”, says me.
  15. Stick a large vegetable up the “significant investment”.
  16. Today
  17. yep Although A predominantly left-sided player, with the flexibility to operate anywhere down the flank as well as in more advanced attacking areas, De Neve adds pace, athleticism, energy and versatility to the Rovers ranks. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2025/june/10/rovers-conclude-dion-deal/ I suppose he has operated anywhere down the left, just not very well
  18. if PNE had Ismeal they'd be towards the bottom end.
  19. How can he say he was wrong when the season isn't over ?
  20. You know full well you predicted that for this season but never mind. No shame in admitting you were completely wrong. Yes I am missing Eustace strangely enough because he left us in 6th or 7th and the current apology for a Head Coach has us in 20th.
  21. Academy recruitment team "enhanced" Rovers are investing in the future of the club’s youth development pathway with the expansion of the Academy and Emerging Talent Recruitment Department. The strategic growth includes the creation of three new positions – Assistant Head of Academy Recruitment, Recruitment Analyst and an Emerging Talent Scout responsible for France and Africa. Long-serving Rovers staff Michael Cribley (Head of Academy Recruitment) and Chris Brankin (Academy Recruitment Operations and Pre Academy Manager) have now been joined in the department by Finn O'Leary (Assistant Head of Recruitment), Sean Cookson (Academy Recruitment Analyst) and Raphael Sherrer (Scout Emerging Talent France and Africa). These key additions will significantly enhance Rovers’ ability to identify and attract promising young players both locally and internationally. Rovers’ Head of Academy, Paul Gray, said: “Strengthening our Recruitment Department is a vital investment in the future of our Academy. “While our priority will always be to identify and support the very best local talent from the North West, expanding the team allows us to widen the net in a smart, targeted way, across the UK and abroad. “The additions of an Assistant Head of Academy Recruitment, a dedicated Recruitment Analyst and an Emerging Talent Scout covering France and Africa give us greater reach, sharper insight and a more proactive approach to finding players who fit Blackburn Rovers and our values. “By building greater capacity and expertise, we’re ensuring we stay ahead of the game and continue to bring in young people with the potential to thrive here.” It was a proud moment for the Academy on Friday night, as Rovers Under-18s produced an outstanding performance to defeat Southampton 2-1 in the FA Youth Cup, and there will be another notable milestone to celebrate when Rovers face Middlesbrough on Boxing Day, as it will mark 750 consecutive league games with an Academy graduate named in the matchday squad.
  22. Arctic Monkeys- Do I wanna know?
  23. We did finish above Derby. Well above. We finished 7th, they scraped survival. Still missing him, bless. You'll get over it.
