  1. Past hour
  2. I actually meant being successful with that way of running the club would need a huge chunk of luck.
  3. Fleetwood Mac - Eyes Of The World
  4. Fair enough. Montgomery performed well last time out tbf. We havent been doing well with Cantwell in the side as it is though. I dont rate Miller at all personally, I know some seem to like him.
  5. I agree, a good manager coming in would be a fluke. Id rather that though than hope and wait for Valerian to develop some acumen. I’d rather Damien Johnson had the job as desperate as that sounds. Im sure Lenny Venkhater has already done it, but here’s my bastardised version of JCC; The fucking footballs fucking dull The fucking stands are never full There’s only girls and fucking guys With fucking murder in their eyes A fucking bloke is fucking subbed I’m waiting in the fucking club You fucking stay at fucking home The fucking neighbours fucking roar Keep the fucking rovers down This is fucking Venkytown
  6. Not shooting the messenger if we'd had VAR in the Championship on Saturday we'd have probably have pulled it back to 2-1 from the penalty spot and might have been playing for a period against ten after the elbow on Cantwell. Hardly a given we'd have got anything out of the game seeing as we didnt even register a shot on target in the 90 mins otherwise. He's really floundering isnt he? No idea at all how to turn it round. Just blame bad luck/officials etc.
  7. Clarification: Overall, it’s a poor roster. But I would say Cantwell, Miller, Montgomery- just to have some options at certain positions.
  8. He is useless and was a seriously bad choice in the first place The owners don't care one jot and it's now 3 seasons since my son and I said enough is enough. I support any withdrawal by fans. This is the only was to get rid of the cancer which permeates this Club
  9. I do not disagree, I’m simply saying it’s not all on Ismael.
  10. That’s the entire culture of the club now. No accountability anywhere.
  11. So in the pre-match interview with the club, Ismael has spent a good 8mins, of a 16mins interview, complaining about refereeing decisions and getting VAR in the championship. Although his overall point isn't far of the mark, he really will not take any responsibility for the mess we are in. It's always someone else's fault.
  12. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1C4KwGX3n2/ He's utterly deluded. I get he has to say certain things but to act like there are no real issues, "we know we can score goals" and "we need to get back on the winning streak" is just insulting to anyone who has watched us at all this season.
  13. Is the guy who coaches our finishing the same guy who sets our transfer strategy
  14. This guy is a complete useless manager unless a change we are down Its heartbreaking they just dont seem to care well I wont care on Saturday for one game everyone needs to do the same and not go !
  15. Carter starts, Xavier Nosegbe is a new name on the bench, looks like he is a 15/16 year old defender
  16. and if we sack him? Well ask fans at any football club what they wanted a new manager to achieve and they’ll say they want someone who can bring better players to the club and who will improve results. Nothing much more than that. I think that’s what every club would try to do. Not here though. They had a manager who could do that and indeed did do that in place when they bought us but they sacked him within weeks. That patently isnt what they want from any manager. They just want someone to work with any player given to them. Work with them and improve them for only one reason - financial gain. That won’t change and that just contributes to the disenchantment that runs throughout the club and the fans. Nobody could get behind that apart from the owners blindly backed by Pasha. Running the club that way can never bring success without a huge amount of pure luck. It’s been happening for fifteen years now and the fans are - and have been walking away throughout that time. They are killing the club and they don’t give a toss.
  17. Not sure I can ever remember us being so bad that: We aren't necessarily wondering if we'll win We aren't necessarily wondering if we'll score but We're wondering if we'll register an effort on target.
  18. Today
  19. Hull early this season probably the best/only choice in terms of a game we dominated? They were ravaged by illness though, which is probably why. Last season under Ismael we also beat Millwall 4-1 somewhat randomly, although it was after we'd tanked our playoff hopes yet again, so more a last hurrah for the nearly men before most of them got shipped out.
  20. Any update on Watford? Is there any further intel on how well the boycott will be observed. The one's who will attend will not be on here. Is it going to be in the Telegraph, local news?
  21. It’s going to be another defeat, Im sure of that. Under normal circumstances, the upside would be the pathetic record of the manager, would mean at least that would be the end, but of course, as we all know, that will not be the case. Rovers will not score, so it’s just a matter of how many we lose by for me.
  22. If you think you’ve got some sort of secret, either just keep it entirely to yourself or just spill it - don’t play games like the last sentence. I’m sure we’re all fucked off with Rovers at the moment, we don’t need blue balls. Goes without saying we all want / need a new ownership scenario (Mercer never backed up his rumour on that btw, another dick tease) but I think it’s easy to see at this point just how bad Valerien Ismael is. Of course there are some viable excuses like injuries or referee performances but they’re excuses at the end of the day. Have we ever looked like running away with a game? We look disorganised, sluggish, clueless with the ball in the final third, timid at defensive set pieces, useless at attacking set pieces. is there a single player you can say he’s improved? I think you could argue Pratt, but then he says yes to a loan left sided centre back (who looks way out of shape btw) and drops the actual “asset”. I think it’s fair to give people time and chances, I’d apply the same thing to the DOF, but it’s quite clear the lot of them are nowhere near up to it; If we stay up it’ll be a miracle.
  23. Why have we bought Jorgonnson half way through the season if the player is not fit and ready to start. It happens all the time. Part of the shambles, we need a striker on the pitch!
  24. What was the initial discussion on this?
  25. So here we are - facing Swansea and having to start Alebiosu (with a high risk of him getting injured) because our options on both RWB and LWB are so poor that without Alebiosu, we will probably lose. We can't afford to lose this one. With Norwich regaining form under Clement, it will probably be a fight between us, Oxford and Portsmouth on who gets to follow Sheff Wed down. It looks like Oxford have recruited fairly well and could get a new manager bounce, whilst Mousinho is expecting quite a few through the door at Portsmouth as well. I had us in 23rd in my table prediction, and I sincerely hope I was wrong.
