  1. Past hour
  2. ‘another meaningful step forward’ I must have missed the other ones.
  3. Hmm sounds a bit like this from 2010 When they bought Blackburn for £23 million in Nov. 2010, Venky's chairperson Anuradha Desai spoke of "leveraging [Venky's] global influence in establishing Blackburn Rovers as a truly global brand," and of "actively supporting the organisation to ensure that Blackburn Rovers remain one of the best-run clubs within the Premier League." That panned out excellently too lol
  4. Derby are getting more and more confident on Trav. Wonder if he'll play tomorrow? No doubt be his last game. Wonder how the club will work it with replacements? Announce Miyoshi and Baradji before?
  5. Complete kick in the nuts. He DID NOT WRITE THIS.
  6. Googled football scores and this came up as featured game. Route one rovers, What's that about 🤔
  7. To be fair, I think he has 10% of the franchise. They declined last season when I think people thought Brady's influence might see an improvement. Obviously it is early days in a sport where, unlike football here, you can have poor years without a penalty as there is no relegation.
  8. Cantwell actually surprised me with his work rate, particularly the longer the season went on. No complaints from me in that department.
  9. Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell - Ain’t Nothing Like The Real Thing
  10. Please try and ensure the owners see the "real" FF minutes.
  11. I have to confess I have no interest whatsoever in American egg chasing. Were they particularly successful before he took over or something?
  12. Glen how close to the edge do you think Suhail is?
  13. You will always find someone in league two or one willing to take him on. You do need some footballers in the side, and I think Cantwell does work a lot harder than given credit for.
  14. We arent in a position to be shedding important players. He had a disappointing season but he has by far the most ability out of anyone in the squad and he does work harder than perhaps given credit for. He has to do better though.
  15. Cantwell won’t be going anywhere and whilst he did struggle at times last season there’s clear ability I’d even argue some of our players aren’t on the same page as him see him loads of times receiving the ball head up and no runners leading him to over complicate things or just play safe a fit cantwell with Kargbo and hopefully new rw I think he will do a lot better
  16. Personally I think it’s great. This club has a truly inspirational history. It has represented our town with pride and given us something to be proud of. It has punched above its weight consistently. It has won things in 3 centuries..how many clubs can say that? We have been represented by international stars, charismatic football artists and legions of honest hardworking players who probably represent us most of all. Someone in the club still feels that pride. You can call it cynical. For me it shows that our club, however difficult the current situation is, still has people that understand who we are and why we exist and wants to celebrate it.
  17. not really a val player????? more a ballplayer and not a full on 90 minute runner
  18. Would be no loss. Been incredibly disappointing. Who'd been daft enough to take him on high wages though?
  19. 1000% plants because ive noticed an increase on X suddenly engaging on my posts who are new faceless users n every post is slamming the fans
  20. Would there be a club willing to take a risk on Leonard's fitness and not breaking down (again)?
  21. Today
  22. I always dread sitting in the Riverside and watching the shooting drills. Next year will be complete parts unknown! Warning to home fans, duck for cover.
  23. ‘Look ahead with ambition’ What a bunch of absolute bellends.
  24. Watched the interview ...all i got was creating value for project players...factory model... no ambition , fight or fire to remotely trying to get to PL...effing sad and this our 150th year
  25. Yes; the proof of the pudding will be in the eating. Which is why it is so ridiculous to be falling at the feet of owners now when they haven't achieved anything other than a lot of noise in the media. Tom Brady was the GOAT in the NFL as a player; but as an owner he has still to cut it as the franchise that he bought into last year - the Las Vegas Raiders - had a terrible season.
