  1. Past hour
  2. Before Millwall at home presumably. Gueye not been in squad since Portsmouth (week before) and Tavares was dropped to bench for Millwall and not been in squad since.
  3. The multiple uses of a dash and an unwarranted colon are sure fire giveaways it was written by Ai as well
  4. Martinelli thing was poor but I thought he deserved 2 yellows nothing too drastic. We see that happen quite often it just so happened this time the lad was actually injured and I think Martinelli has had a lapse in judgement and thought he was time wasting.
  5. In my group, we loved Tony Field, Kit Napier and Johnny Price, whereas O'Mara was a misfit. A lot of Rovers fans had affection for Endean too, but he didn't light up a game like the other three. Even after all this time, I can feel the pain of Ken Furphy's departure and the negativity around Gordon Lee's introduction and the poor end to a promising season. A few short months later, Gordon Lee was a football God!
  6. Agreed on Price but he wasn't in the starting X1. Remember Napier being described as "mercurial". Very good on his day but there weren't many of them at all to the best of my recollection.
  7. Tavares is terrible. Knew he was unprofessional when he was texting throughout a pre season game he was on commentary for.
  8. Blimey, Kit Napier wasn't crap! Neither was Johnny Price.. I remember that Rochdale away game too. Tony Field did score and he had pre-planned his celebration in front of the away end, actually forming 100 with his fingers! That Rochdale win made it 5 wins in a row too. Promotion form..then....
  9. One is definitely Tavares...Strikes me as someone who isn't arsed.
  10. £120 for something blatantly ‘designed’ on ChatGPT.
  11. Let's just say the one I said had moved hasn't moved yet - I thought he had. 2nd 2 are incorrect and both were signed in the summer.
  12. 3 tossers then i don't care who they are and i'm with Cantwell on this one.
  13. Today
  14. Waggott is gone and he did have contacts in the English game. Since Mowbray, we had JDT and Eustace under Waggott's watch. Before then, the awful ownership and various cronies gave us SK, Appleton, Berg, Bowyer, Lambert and Coyle. A pretty poor bunch, I am sure most will agree. Indeed, Mowbray was the only exception. After Ismael I shudder...
  15. Agreed. Really poor game.
  16. Im not a Neville fan at all but I didnt think he said anything wrong at all. He said Martinelli trying to push the injured Bradley off the pitch was an absolute disgrace, which I completely agree with and he was surprised one of the Liverpool players hadn't chinned Martinelli (or similar) which I cant disagree with at all.
  17. TMS certainly didn’t think England would win at a canter. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/articles/cgqlqlw4gx3o
  18. Neville should be fired. Can't advocate violence (at least on live TV) what a bad impression to set for younger viewers.
  19. Waddington and Fazackerly. That was an incredibly classy CB pairing for Division 3. The Hansen and Lawrenson of the Lower Leagues. Look how attacking that line up was as well Endean, Napier, OMara and Field. Ok they were all pretty crap apart from Field but thats not the point. Game hasn't necessarily changed for the better.
  20. It's a club rule to go out the night before a match? Explains a lot.
  21. Not a Liverpool liker but that action by martinelli was disgraceful. Hope they do look at that again and punish him and Arsenal.
  22. Borrowed from Twitter, seemed appropriate:
  23. It's a close one. Thought Hendry was a far more consistent performer week in week out.
  24. I’d describe him as the love-child of Joe Rothwell and Bradley Dack. He had the up-off-your-seat acceleration and dribbling of Rothwell coupled with the audacious finishing of Dack.
