  1. Past hour
  2. The medical should be extra thorough considering his condition.
  3. Over the last few years we've definitely had the players to see us promoted, but never at the same time! The best were always sold from under us and we've had to start again---multiple times. Its soul-destroying and ,eventually club-destroying.
  4. Probably one of the finest posts I've read on here. Could have included a Swede to the theme if only a medical wasn't taking 3 days
  5. Danny Tiatto had his moments.
  6. I wonder if the incoming Swede has led to a last minute change to more favourable terms for Baradji?
  7. To sum up where our club stand at the minute as if we are a local pub eatery with decent food & the plan and if you were a customer would you keep going to the local and trusting the plan? the brewery get into legal trouble so can’t fund the pub, an ambitious danish head chef leaves because he’s told by the pub manager he can’t choose the ingredients or the menu any more and has to get cheaper ingredients and equipment despite adding some danish flair we sell our nice oven to a London pub for a price that keeps the bills paid for a month and bring in an ambitious chef who wants to buy nice ingredients, launch a new menu and the pub manager starts to see results, but worries about the margins - changes his order at the wholesalers for cheaper ingredients without telling the chef despite promising him the ability to craft his menu his way… invariably he walks out and joins a worse pub down the road but starts to take his sous chef and pot washer and front of house with him the long standing bar manager takes over in the kitchen, gets some results and is eschewed aside for an out of work French chef who’s last few kitchens have failed hygiene standards .. but he comes in and tries hard after a rocky start and agrees to buy unknown weird ingredients and work with the microwave he starts building a menu bringing in foreign untried ding ding meals on the hope the locals will like them the pub raise prices meanwhile without doing any decor or refurbishment in the establishment and the place starts to look and feel tacky the new menu launches with a load of unknown dishes from the microwave as the oven, the grill and the sous chef all gone to pay bills the locals ask for feedback at a village meeting and the minutes keep getting delayed as the pub manager wants to hide the shambles behind the scenes whilst advertising their exciting new microwave menu and watered down pints of fosters
  8. Come on -you know the law according to Chadster. It's too early to judge any of our incoming players but it's never too early to d.ismiss every player everyone else signs as shite
  9. Can’t agree with this at all to have a plan you need the futures of your players sorted to move forward as that isn’t the case currently with hyam tronstad and club captain Travis we don’t have much of a plan. We will continue to make signings based on need not an actual ‘plan’ a plan would be get the contracts sorted build a team around them so we know what we will have for the next 2/3 years but we don’t know that
  10. If those Gable ends could be painted that would be amazing. How does something like that get commissioned?
  11. Plan here ? It's about time you held your hand up and admitted the ONLY plan here is we have to sell players and let players who want better contracts go in order to pay the bills. That's it there is no other plan than that it's about keeping the lights on. The same can't be said of Derby who no doubt sold Eustace a project of building year on year for promotion and that's why he went there.
  12. Today
  13. I’m sure the members of the FF are clever enough to work out how to ensure the club are (rightly) blamed for this.
  14. I may have missed it but I can’t see the need to minute the meetings mentioned in the regs. I note the FEP says they will but do you know if they are obliged to?
  15. If we didn't a plan we wouldn't be making signings after signings that Ismael wants. We must had a plan to replace Brittain and who are targets were But to be honest your post and comments is zero surprised.
  16. Imo the club under their own FEP must publish the minutes as per the meeting. Being published elsewhere only let's them off hook, and the tampering go away
  17. I disagree. I think we would have been relatively pleased given the circumstances. If we put it down in writing, this is what Derby's activity would have looked like for us, had we carried it out. Eustace stays as manager, plus: Batth and Weimann sign new deals. Sanderson and Beck return to us on loan for another year. Ozoh and Clark sign on loan. Brewster and Carlton Morris sign permanently. Agyemang signs for a big fee. Excitement and intrigue around him. Attacking options of Ohashi, Gueye, Brewster, Morris and Agyemang would give us real bite at this level. Even if we were to let Gueye leave, for example, we'd still have plenty of goal threat. Add Weimann to that too, despite his age. What we have at present isn't worth writing home about. Eustace would still be manager. Our best defender, Batth, would still be here. Our organised defensive structure would still be here. Add in all of the above and there would be some optimism about the season ahead. As it is, we are taking punts on cheap, unknowns. It's a hit and hope policy. These new lads might turn out to be good, but there's no way we can look at De Neve, Tavares and Co right now and claim our signings are better than club x, y and z and that we'd prefer these over certain other club's signings.
  18. Our "plan." Changes every year. Have to be pretty gullible to think we have one.
  19. An injured beck no an injured ozoh no fees don’t suggest too much we paid more for Gallagher Morris would def have here and batth id have liked to have kept
  20. Joking aside he’ll probably be okay there. Linked to this I work in the same sector as a lad from Manchester (Utd fan) whose son is on Hibs’ books and he goes to watch them a lot. He reckons Miller will become a cult hero at Ewood as long as he stays fit and isn’t suspended!
  21. He is called head coach there. No long term planning there, older aged Players signing which suits him. Nothing wrong with that but not with our plan. I don't see any of signings has next level signing. Before you asked about Rovers. Most signings we made I know very little about ours but let's see how they perform
  22. The problem we have now is that the truth has come out - the minutes released don’t accurately reflect what was discussed in the room. I’ve no idea how we’ve got here, but unfortunately the entire thing is now under question. The moment the minutes are released, whether the club agrees to the amendments or not, the entire historical archive is under scrutiny.
  23. That's what managers do that's why they are called managers not head coaches. Do you see them selling their best players to pay their bills and fishing around for cheaper replacements to develop or do you see them putting in place a strong squad for this season then trying to add quality to take them to the next level ? Meanwhile here - so far - 4 of last seasons best players have left and nobody has signed a contract extension. Precisely what he knew was going to happen.
  24. Just fuck off with that bullshit. Stop defending the club it's absolutely fucking pathetic.
