  1. Past hour
  2. based purely off his friendship with the most vile man in football, if they appoint Coleman, i'm done with the club until he's gone.
  3. Last night's win was necessary to give us any sort of chance of staying up but was in no way any sort of reliable guide of whether we actually will do or not. I can't believe West Brom will do nothing for the rest of the season if they continue to struggle. At the moment they're the only team apart from Oxford and Wednesday I can see us finishing above.** All hinges on the quality of Ismael's replacement. If Johnson stays until the end of the season Id have it as 60/40 in favour of us going down. If Ismael had have stayed we were 100% down without a whimper. **Subject to Leicester not getting a points deduction. When will we actually know about this? If they do get one at the last minute and are relegated they'll surely appeal and we won't know the outcome until well into the summer?
  4. 18 points needed from 16 matches to get to the magic 50 points which will probably be enough this year. 5 wins and a few draws or 6 wins. West Brom and Pompey at home and Oxford away are cup finals now, if we can win those games, that should do it. Edit - i'm aware our record against the teams around us is stinking and that we haven't beaten any of those three yet
  5. Don't worry about the odds. The betting market will be small and the amount of Coleman tweets will drive a few to have a flutter; it only takes a few to drive the odds up. Another rumour today will see that fall. Appointing Coleman will piss off a lot of hardcore fans, let alone the already stayaways. It will be devastating to the ST sales next year and despite all of the detachment our board have shown even they are not that silly.
  6. He won't spill anything He has left by mutual consent - basically, here is your payment, now keep shtum about any misgivings you have and it won't go on your record as a dismissal.
  7. Makes me feel a bit sick....
  8. I think Bilic is this years smokescreen, I'd be very surprised if we got him. Was only there a couple of years ago, don't imagine him going back to be honest. I don't think its any exaggeration to say though, if it's Coleman then we might as well have kept Ismael.
  9. If we stay up and get a decent manager. Big ifs I know then I can see jorgensen and gudjonson having a fruitful partnership next season
  10. True, Gudjohnson looked off the pace to start with too and he turned it around and became very effective. Hopefully Jorgensen can do the same. Anyone know where Henrickson is? Not been on the bench the last couple of games?
  11. Was there really over 12 thousand on last night ?
  12. You would hope so. I watched him a couple of times in the 21s and his size and presence always impressed me. Looked huge. Can see it's confirmed here: https://www.instagram.com/p/DUU_ctWjVmq/?igsh=MXhoeml2aTJmcjhlaQ==
  13. There is always something that can be done. NAPM.
  14. Let's hope the win kicks off a great run of results. Time to be positive. 15 points off play offs....a win here and we're basically going for promotion 🤣 Back in the real world, anything but a loss is a good result against a fellow struggler.
  15. 2 wins in 16 and not even in the bottom 3. Long way to go this season, and I have it 50/50 on us going down. Some really bad sides down there.
  16. We couldn't make it last night but it sounds like a rerun of the game at Hillsborough which was comfortably one of the worst I've seen. Wednesday (apart from one or two) have even lower quality players than us but the fact we couldn't put them away easily in both games tells its own story. Both Wednesday and Rovers with their current line-ups would be mid-table at best in League One
  17. Watford are even more of a basket case than we are and that takes some doing
  18. Best buds with Kean and Suhail, willing to work for anyone, won't complain about owners, it's gonna be Coleman and there's nothing we can do
  19. Today
  20. They might be forgiven slightly, for last night's performance. We got off to the perfect start, ahead after 12 minutes, it was a 6 pointer in front of a new man in the dugout, nerves started to creep in, after failing to put the game beyond doubt. Let's hope it gives them the confidence, to put on better performances.
  21. The Sheffield Wednesday supporters, were singing your going down with the Wednesday, if our performances don't improve, from last night, who can disagree. Hopefully we'll see an improvement.
  22. There is absolutely no way that someone with a record over the last 8 years like this should be anywhere near being considered....
  23. Really need to start seeing Coleman drifting, seems to be doing the opposite 😔
  24. Yes, I like Jorgensen runs, quite intelligent. Doesn't seem particularly quick or strong or technical though. So i wonder how he beats a defender. That said Gudjonsen looked a total passenger when he arrived, but as hes gone on his link up play and ability to compete with defenders have really improved. So all we can do is hope for something similar.
  25. Cantwell was awful last night but let’s hope it was just a bad day at the office, it was really really bad though. We come up against one of his old clubs next so let’s hope he’s up for that one and puts on a proper performance. The problem of no goals in the team nearly struck again last night but fortunately we managed to nick one. Agreed with the comment earlier about it being Cantwell or Baradji but not both together. I’d actually be tempted to have TGH in the middle as at least he has a bit of an engine and will put a foot in. See he got married at the end of January and doesn’t seem to have had a look in recently. He was awful at right wing back but I’ve not thought he was as bad in the middle. I’m only assuming they’ve decided they won’t be signing him so aren’t going to play him.
