  1. Past hour
  2. As for the game, a front 4 of Kyogo, Stansfield, Gray and Anderson terrifies me
  3. Transparency for fans is what we have been after. Wanting to know what’s going on of course when it comes to post match interviews regarding performances we don’t need managers to tell us someone has played good/bad because we will have seen it. But that’s a preference whether they do or not. See Russell martins interview last week? the transparency we are after is about stuff we don’t see and I’m perfectly fine with it. People are raising their eyebrows because Travis didn’t like it being made public well I’m very sorry Lewis but tough luck. as for the other players if they don’t like honesty and or criticism then they aren’t the characters you want in your team anyway, I see no reason as to why anybody in the team would be sat back saying ‘I’m not playing for him I can’t believe he told the media Lewis asked to leave’ if and a big ‘if’ that’s the case then they can follow him out the door
  4. The fuckwits don't have memories going back further than the last cheque they signed (or the first) and so hold a bastardised concept of what history means for Blackburn Rovers. Expect even more public humiliation and shame as they haplessly and shamelessly scrabble around for anything to deflect attention from their complete and utter disrespecting of our club and community. I challenge anyone to come up with a single example of anything that the Rao family have done that has brought anything of positive impact in the 5000 plus days they have held the keys to Ewood Park. They are the football equivalent of long Covid - unpleasant, unwanted, unseen (except for horrible symptoms) and difficult to dislodge. Time to go, Venkys. The experiment failed long ago, and your continued ownership is the biggest single threat to the future of Blackburn Rovers. VENKYS OUT! WORK EXPERIENCE MAGPIE MEGALOMANIACS OUT! HIDING IN THE SHADOWS INDIAN HENCHMEN OUT!
  5. Today
  6. I find the cashing in/using Jack as a deflection tactic being employed more and more the last 6 months. Anytime there is unrest it seems a reference to a time (these lot have no place talking about) when Rovers were something to be proud of is rolled out. It really sticks in my craw
  7. I was having this discussion with my son, in the 30 years prior to his birth I’d never seen us lose to them. In the first 10 years of his life he’s not seen us win.
  8. Do us all a favour then and don't bother talking again until you actually have something to say. And no, just parroting club propaganda does not count.
  9. I read this without my glasses on and thought it read Cantwell, Dolan and Markanday. Glad I was wrong.
  10. Remembering the early days of success under JDT when most of the side were academy graduates or players like BBD who came over at a very young age. There was something extra special about a group that had grown into senior football at the ckub
  11. Have you heard this one out of interest, players meals at Brockhall - they're now having to pay for them?
  12. Rovers can bring back all the past successful players, managers to hype up the atmosphere. but the truth is the players dont really care and fall short of the quality and standard we should be showing. 4-0 to Birmingham. I hope im very wrong of course.
  13. Thanks Parson. @chaddyrovers You don’t need to like posts replying to me, and then copy and paste it as your own quote too. It’s part of why you have a reputation of being unable to form or properly defend your own opinions.
  14. Never felt such animosity towards the board and the owners before the first home game of a new season. It used to always be an exciting day but due to their continuous negligence the squad is all over the place. Gestede out Pasha out Venky's out!
  15. Wow. Adding Broadhead to that. It's genuinely upsetting that we're falling behind a team like Wrexham. I never thought I'd see it.
  16. Yesterday
  17. Maybe they will change formation. I dont know. Either way, he is a very good player at this level. You say they could sign 3 Championship players. They have already signed Lewis O'Brien, Ryan Hardie, Keiffer Moore, Conor Coady, Josh Windass etc. My point was merely that I wish our worry was whether in signing a proven Championship quality player, on top of loads more. That we may have overpaid. As opposed to seeing us get rid of most of our players and replace with cheap randomers on small wages.
  18. Just looked at some of the low value transfers in the division... Imagine a world where a club builds on progress and keeps their better players: Toth, Pears Brittain, NEW Batth, Hyam, Carter, Wharton Pickering, Ribeiro Travis, Tronstad, NEW, NEW Dolan, NEW Cantwell, Wiemann Kargbo, NEW Ohashi, Gueye, NEW, NEW Ryan Hardie comes in for £750k and any other striker from Emil Riis, Carlton Morris or Oli McBurnie on a free. Djeidi Gassama for one of the wing spots - £2m, Kwame Poku on a free for the other. Jeffrey Schlupp & John Swift on frees to cover midfield. I'd be confident of a top 4 finish with JE in charge. Instead we've spent around £4m (plus when the accounts are released no doubt we'll have one of the highest agent expenditures in the division) on mostly untested foreign imports. (Whilst bringing in roughly the same in sales let's not forget) For anyone saying 'but the wages'... Adam Wharton, Sammie Szmodics, David Raya, Sam Gallagher, Leo Wahlstedt, Niall Ennis, Thomas Kaminski, Ashley Phillips, etc, etc. £40m+ income over the past 2 years. Fuck knows where we'll be and what the squad will look like in another 12 months.
  19. The bean counters were happy to get him off the books but JDT did say that him and Travis had spoken and Travis wasn't happy that he wasn't playing . He hadn't started a game In central midfield in something like 3 months as far as I can recall Utterly stupid to send him out and then sell Wharton like , but they had told JDT that Wharton wasn't being sold
  20. He says it because that's what the Club said.
  21. Are our saying it was JDT's decision to loan Travis out to Ipswich? Surely the motive was financial, to get him off the books? That's hardly Head Coach territory is it?
  22. I didn't hear you complaining and saying we should have signed 3 players for the money we spent on Brereton. Wrexham have signed other players and will most likely add more before the deadline
  23. I really don't know why I bothered and taking time to your questions cos you just come back that first sentence. So all getting abit tedious and monotonous with yourself now. I leave it there tonight and until after the Birmingham game. Let's hope we get our first win and we can go all home happy
  24. They'll finish above us this season after being in League One last year and were in non-league a few years ago. They're doing it right, we're doing it wrong. They won't get busted with FFP either which proves that clubs getting relatively small gates and no parachute money can spend big at this level without issues.
  25. I would be amazed if Gestede gets any sort of senior job in football when he leaves Rovers - I think it will be common knowledge in football that Rovers are seemingly a dysfunctional mess and Gestede as Head Of Football Operations must take a huge slice of responsibility for that. It's not experience Montgomery needs, it's a footballing ability!!! IMO, the lad hasn't got it and never will - over hyped beyond belief.
  26. Who hired RG and why can we not fire him if he is so disruptive, does he have someones ear?
