  1. Past hour
  2. Agood christmas to all and hopd is a great new yezr with the Lord blessing
  3. If u are talking about Wharton. He's 6 foot
  4. At Rovers I thought he started well, went a bit shit, then never really got back to his earlier performances defensively. However he was brilliant going forward. Alebiosu is a much better defender and when he gets forward he's very good. I trust him defensively more than Brittain and I think we're yet to see the best of him.
  5. I admire anyone who can turn around after the events of the last 2-3 years and say that hand on heart they have been enjoying it. I suppose this takes us back to those who have the ability to ignore/set aside the off the pitch nonsense and focus purely on 11 lads running around on matchday, and their matchday 'experience', and those of us who don't have that ability and cannot help but become embroiled in the rest of it, knowing that there is something inherently wrong with the club and struggling to get past that fact. Personally it has filled me with dismay and rage at the way the club has operated and continues to operate, and unfortunately that has overridden any pleasure that there is to be had from watching games. The sad but inevitable consequence of that is to conclude that it isn't enjoyable. And when you reach that conclusion the obvious question is why do it? Even when JDT and Eustace had us competing at the top end and I started to enjoy it again it was burdened with the knowledge that our 'custodians' were always going to bring it to a swift end.
  6. i found it weird that o`riordan was highly rated at crewe but has been loaned out by our last two managers, despite him already impressing a lower level with crewe, hopefully he`ll come back here and fit in like pratt has
  7. More atmosphere than at Ewood.
  8. 🎻 🎻 🎻 🎻 🎻 🎻 🎻 🎻 What flannel. So basically.... "- I don't care about what happens off the pitch, I just 'back the boys' no matter what"
  9. I’m not sure our owners give a shit what league we are in anymore. The lower the league, the cheaper the operation.
  10. Lets hope it's the future formula for more positions.
  11. My first instinct when i saw the Alebiosu thread was bumped was "how bad is the injury" 🫣
  12. good, he can`t get injured warming the bench, which is my major concern
  13. Alebiosu on the bench, Osayi-Samuel (Birmingham's right back) starts
  14. Today
  15. Oh Daniel Oyegoke, Oh Daniel Oyegoke, Oh Daniel Oyegoke. Gotta be a chant there, let us know.🤣🤣
  16. I wasn't suggesting for one second he will be anything like as successful as Alebiosu, just a long list of similarities, most of which have next to no impact on his ability Maybe that's "the data" these days 😉
  17. Yeah Brittan has been pretty good for them. Weird for anyone to be casting shade on them signing him when we're 20th and they're 2nd.
  18. On the bench, as Millers deputy. Litherland has done more than enough to keep his place at wing back whilst Alebiosu is away
  19. Think we'd be fortunate for lightning to strike twice. Alebiosu has been a revelation but I expect another cheap punt will end up closer to the Tavares/De Neve/Henriksson category.
  20. It was wrong, yes, and I'd admitted that I got mixed up with something else. My apologies.
  21. All technically possible of course, but we're barely competitive as it is, so any further cutbacks would almost certainly lead to loss of Championship status.
  22. That's like "Alebiosu, he has been good" lets get someone of exactly the same profile" English ✅ right back/wing back ✅ of Nigerian dissent ✅ came through Arsenal academy ✅ had 6 months playing for Hearts in Scotland last season ✅ playing on the continent ✅ cheap (he has only played 8 times in his year at Verona, and only three times this season) ✅ Scarily uncanny
  23. What’s still to cut? Cut the wage bill further (Cantwell? get shut of those wages), close the Riverside, downgrade the Academy, have another go at putting houses on Brockhall, loads to go at.
  24. Based on his cameo against Millwall and what i have seen earlier i wonder if shifting him to being a "back to goal" striker might be the answer. I agree he seems to have some playing ability but is way off being abel to play the "10" role in the championship (imo of course)
  25. I explained my reasons why I won't boycott/missed games. @StHelensRoverpost was a very good one and I respect that post I respect your reasons for not attending. Thankyou for the last comment, much apprenticed
  26. They play different positions - he can't really come on for the same players Tavares and De Neve can come on for. Tavares has one highlight in 4 months of football - a lovely interception and assist for an Ohashi goal. That's very worrying and I can't see him being here much longer. Maybe he is terrible, but I've seen enough to give him a longer leash. Granted Baradji looks significantly better already (and can play multiple positions in Midfield).
