  1. Past hour
  2. Gallagher played up front for us for years and never looked like the finisher that Gudjohnsen is. If you don’t think some of his goals are quality finishes you’re hard to please. He makes what are tricky finishes look easy. I agree the rest of his game is a bit shaky but the lad can finish alright.
  3. Simply Red - So Not Over You
  4. Cheating a bit but it is Xmas and it’s a good track - The Valentino’s - It’s All Over Know
  5. Obviously things are a bit raw just now, but this comment from Test Match Special was incredibly damning: This is the fourth successive Ashes tour in which England have lost the first three Tests. By the time Australia visit the UK in 2027, it will be 12 years since England's most recent Ashes series win.
  6. I'm not sure? Why is Sam Gallagher being brought into comparison?
  7. Think the most damning stat is 75 to 80% of seats were empty. A direct result of the Rao's ownership
  8. How many of his goals could you see Sam Gallagher scoring ?
  9. Maybe because the majority of people left in the stadium are not anti-venky.
  10. Good If he progresses further, he will be off Hopefully he progresses no faster than Rhodes so is here for at least 3 years 😉
  11. I like Gudjohnsen but I would say he's got alot of work to do yet before he progresses further. Twice yesterday he had the ball at his feet and didn't look comfortable carrying it, lost control with acres of space in the first half and then passed a terribly loose ball in the second, think then Val subbed him off which was the correct decision. We've yet not really seen him get a quality finish away, goals have all landed at his feet. A few nice headers yes but I think the commentary team said at Portsmouth, you wouldn't really see him getting goals like Ohashi's - If we can see more of that ability he will no doubt end up in the prem.
  12. Whilst that ownership took them to the top tier, they have also since turned the taps off, every window, their better players are sold and replaced by relative cheap punts from overseas Without knowing too much about it, I believe this may be at the behest of the CCP, who seemed to take a fleeting interest in football about a decade ago, but now seem disinterested and just doing the bare minimum. Inter had a similar issue before being sold a year ago
  13. He is certainly there at the moment but that is not uncommon.
  14. Maybe Ismael went against Pasha's instructions out of necessity. Pasha is away in India. I still think Pickering is on the list of departures in January
  15. Today
  16. THIS! exactly! Actually championship players instead of de neve or Tavares Why freeze Pickering out ? and then why suddenly play him? it’s a contradiction by VI he hasn’t been injured so what’s that all about and why now suddenly play him im glad he is back but I’m confused to why he froze him out
  17. The one great thing about our club they haven’t ruined (yet) is our academy is still producing good players who are proud to play for the club
  18. We showed in this test that we could play Test cricket. All we have to do now is to do it for 5 days. Oh and learn to catch.
  19. He's certainly done prominent work for Rovers, what that means I dont know as he's done work for Ronaldo too
  20. It’s certainly worth getting it out there, as it can’t do any harm bringing this to the attention of anyone prepared to listen. Maybe the coalition can add a sub text to the recent press release.
  21. To be fair even Waggott n Suhail have said previously if someone has the money and can show funds and deposit the bond to start due diligence then they are all ears. However both claim to date no one has demonstrated this. Their interest in rovers is pretty much zero, bar putting in the capped £20m
  22. Crazy old league the championship. If we'd not conceded 2x ridiculous last kick equalisers in 4 days and had a pitch that was playable, we'd be sitting 3 points off the playoffs
  23. He just wanted the Dingles further adrift in the relegation zone..
  24. It's not that I dont believe Glen here, but I just don't believe the information you have been told that they will sell "without hesitation". If that was true I'm sure someone would have tested them by now. They will be here for another decade unfortunately, where we will be as a club who knows.
  25. If this guy and his firm are struck off, does that mean there is any chance of further investigation into his past dealings with other parties over the years (Meaning his involvement with Venkys and Rovers)?

  27. https://www.lawgazette.co.uk/news/top-sports-lawyer-and-his-firm-shut-down-over-dishonesty-suspicions/5125091.article Venkys and Jerome Andersons lawyer. Incidently also the source of many a leak out of rovers. Handled the Derek Shaw /Berg court case fiasco and gave the Action Group all comms, that sports PR company and the other rovers solicitor tried to threaten us over. Handled a lot of business, contracts, NDAs too
