  1. Past hour
  2. Only one this evening O'Riordan not involved tonight as Doncaster rotate agan in the cup v Accrington - score/update
  3. See if we also show the same courtesy to Travis. A player who has put years of constant graft in, no coasting, to help the club having come through the academy. Or if we go down the petty route of continuing to paint him as a villain without ever saying what he is supposed to have done wrong.
  4. Do you think he might get a "Legends" cap?
  5. If there's one thing i'd ban in transfers its the undisclosed fee, just tell us how much it is.
  6. Think we have at least nine. Alebiosu, Hyam, Carter, Wharton, Pickering Forshaw, Tavares, Cantwell, Hedges, Could also choose to include Barrett, Garrett, Pratt. Don't know about McLaughlin as he is Irish.
  7. Neither club has officially announce it yet Same with Travis move to Derby
  8. I'd suggest never looking or reading these opinion pieces on those websites. They're a waste of your life and a template that they churn out across loads of different clubs for clicks and ad revenue... Consider it spam even.
  9. Duffy's two "accidental" own goals and red card against Cardiff, coincidentally when he was rumoured to be trying to force a move away, should disqualify him from ever returning.
  10. I saw this a couple of days ago. Was going to post a comment but was seething and decided against it as no pleasant words were coming out of my mouth. He shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the towns boundary line never mind the club(largely for his own safety)
  11. One mans abuse is another mans piss taking i guess.
  12. Today
  13. Id rather Duffy the Welsh singer was marshalling our back line and winning headers over Shane Duffy
  14. Duffy was rough as hell when he joined us from Everton, clumsy, prone to gaffes, a poor player, but improved enormously in his short time at Ewood only to leave under a cloud and give the impression he was doing us a favour playing for Rovers. Too much baggage and he's 34 in January too. No thanks
  15. I thought everyone was referring to Kargbo's assist for Hedges' goal
  16. I honestly can't remember when I last saw the Under-18's play as well as they did today. The first half was as good as it gets. The passing, movement and clinical finishing was a joy to watch. Fulham had no answer and seemed very disorganised in comparison to our lads. It will be interesting to see how these lads develop but there were some stand out performances today,
  17. Nothing said about this? Price, thanks for the long service, etc.
  18. As part of 3 own goals within about 50 minutes of football across 2 games, then a red card 75 minutes later (in the same game he scored 2 own goals). Persona non grata in Blackburn, for life.
  19. I dont know, but Id guess VI is on roughly the same as JE, and RG is on a LOT less than the eye watering £562k Waggott paid himself according to the last lot of accounts.
  20. The under 18 team were excellent in the first half as they scored six in a real display of clinical finishing. The second half proved to be a bit of an anti climax on the goals front although several chances were created but the Fulham keeper made some good saves. I don't know anything about the Fulham team but they were chasing shadows for most of the game against a rampant Rovers team. From my vantage point I could hear the Rovers coach, Paul Butler shouting to the players and was really impressed with what I was hearing. I was speaking to someone I know connected to the Academy who told me how much the youngsters enjoy his coaching and felt real improvement through this. On an adjacent pitch the under 16 team drew 1-1, also against Fulham.
  21. Indeed - (to oblivion and beyond....) All working to slash budgets but remain in the league. (7th last year with rugs pulled but anywhere in the league this year will do.) Gestede has already stated going up is not the target. How do G and VI’s pay compare to that of SWAG and JE?
  22. Agree with you: not unusual that a club would agree a fee only for a player to move elsewhere (usually for more money for both). More curious as to whether there has actually been any agreement reached with Derby or if our local newspaper (and possibly our manager) have been sold a fairy story...
