  1. Past hour
  2. It's like picking up a new book and reading the last page first, we know who dunnit. Watching others getting excited at the thrills and spills of actually reading the thing is comical to us - we know the outcome. Been here many times before with Rovers and the transfer windows, it's pointless even going through the motions. The only new things are the interesting plot twists that explain WHY someone wasn't signed or WHY someone left but it's always Colonel Mustard in the Library who's behind things. 6 candidates for the crime, 3 in Pune and 3 in the boardroom, though I guess that doesn’t quite work now as Professor Plum has left the building. In case you can't wait to get to the last page it ends in tears and frustration and the perpetrator gets off scot free.
  3. The women's youth teams are already based at UClan, York City play at the Uni, small stadium in the middle of an athletics track. York City u23 play there also. Surely we'd be better playing at local clubs in step 2, 3 or 4 with 3g facilities, investing in local infrastructure rather than carting to UClan, who fund Macclesfield and PNE academy.......
  4. Today
  5. Similar to last pre season, let's see what happens instead of tuning into another episode of Jackanory.
  6. You looking forward to seeing what Suhail can do with the commercial side, Chadster?
  7. The answer to this should be along the lines of 'to strengthen the squad as the player won't sign a new contract' but unfortunately it's more likely to be 'to keep overheads being paid and reduce the financial burden on the owners'
  8. …and a load of the fanbase will lap it up.
  9. I said the exact same thing on twitter
  10. The CEO should have accountability for it all. If he wants to delegate it out elsewhere that's fine but the buck stops with him.
  11. They can split the club a million ways if they wish. It’s still supposed to be the CEO in overall control.
  12. This is like something you'd see on the onion. If this is real then I fear for humanity knowing there are people out there who are that thick and ignorant that are walking around free.
  13. Yesterday
  14. Anyone who thinks they wouldn't do this to the mens team as well is living in an alternate reality. They already deliberately relegated the club from the premier league. Get ready for the messaging being put out that the championship is too expensive for the club to compete in and we've got to adjust expectations accordingly. It's coming.
  15. Pasha to run the commercial side 😂 Funnier even than Gestede running the football side. They want someone to take the role of CEO who is happy to have minimal responsibility to give the power mainly to Suhail.
  16. That's not what a CEO is though Chaddy. You really believe Pasha (the man who directly reports into the owners instead of the CEO) isnt actually the CEO?
  17. They nearly succeeded 13 months ago but Eustace was a far better manager, than they thought he was... I also think Val will be off sooner rather than later!
  18. They split the club into 3. They want CEO to run the Administration side of the club, Pasha to run the commercial side of the club and Gestede to run the football operations side of the club.
  19. The story first broke by Greame Bailey to Wrexham Insider 3 hours ago https://www.thewrexhaminsider.com/transfer-news/wrexham-now-interested-in-3m-phenomenal-midfielder-from-championship-rivals/ Nixon reported his story at 21.16.
  20. Pretty sure he also said any money generated from player sales wouldn't be reinvested into the squad. So, why would we sell anyone?
  21. Maybe Chris Barrie can revive his Gordon Brittas character and go for the job for a laugh.
  22. well rudi must be on some ***** up kind of drug, there is no one more box to box than travis,he never stops running
  23. If they sell Travis to Wrexham, I'll be absolutely fucking fuming.
  24. As soon as Gestede said a few weeks ago we were after a box-to-box midfielder cos we didn’t have one it was fair to assume Travis might be on his way.
