  1. Past hour
  2. To pass the fit and proper they had to prove good cash flow and agree to cover losses and that was about it i assume.
  3. It seems he’s a big fan of banning Maccabi fans from Villa Park, so he has some interest in football, you’d like to think…..
  4. If he's the MP for the town then the plight of the football club is absolutely part of his remit as the club is a cornerstone of the town's economy and culture. As for the other things mentioned, opposing a Holocaust is the bare minimum I would expect from any public representative.
  5. Despite being the MP for Blackburn, it would seem that the entire town of Blackburn is not part of his remit. What happens when voter apathy leads to c80% of eligible voters not bothering going to the polling stations. Rovers will not even be on his radar (unless we convince him that Venky's are from Israel...).
  6. Today
  7. Look at his overall managerial record in England. You've got to wonder whether he'd have got a job at any other club..
  8. You could almost believe that Venkys “had” to commit to putting in an annual amount of cash for the sale from the Walker family to go through. Since then they’ve spent 15 years selling anyone and everyone in a simple attempt to recoup as much as possible. Thats all they do.
  9. Harsh, my friend....I probably agree with much of his Gaza analysis, but I just question how much he represents the needs of our town...
  10. Now then Leonard...they'll be calling you Tommy!
  11. Not a surprise at all. Not going to win votes
  12. And yet, Blackburn Rovers is so important to the town...Maybe, if Gaza had a football team...
  13. Lad will be having the time of his life...while we fall apart. Rudy at the Wheel.
  14. WATR met with him. He sounded interested but delivered nothing. Rovers are not part of his remit.
  15. Disagree. That team had more championship nouse and football intelligence than this lot. Also more fight. Steele, Nyambe, Mulgrew, Lenihan, Williams Emnes, Bennett, Evans, Conway Graham , Gallagher (Young version) Who ‘clearly’ gets in that XI from our starting line up. Alebiosu, Tronstadt, Cantwell. Then maybe Toth.
  16. The set up is working well then isn’t it?
  17. I know he got in on the Gaza issue, but does he do anything for the town? Personally, I think we have had very poor support from our politicians, local radio and paper..
  18. It’s becoming a chore now, watching the games and what was once my biggest passion, is slowly turning into my biggest dread. Much as I try to ignore it, I can’t and hate the regime and all they stand for and just want to be rid of all of has poisoned the club, for 15 years.
  19. So do I. The chickens will come firmly home to roost on Tuesday.
  20. Sad to say it, but we might well be looking for less than Championship level.
  21. There will be no heat. The ground will be empty and there will be no heat on anyone even if we do lose which is more likely than not. Even if we continue to do badly over the next few games. The recepient of the most abuse will not be on the owners who deserve it the most, not on Suhail who deserves it, not on Gestede who deserves it, not even on Ismael who deserves some, it will be aimed at the manager whose job became untenable and has been portrayed as a villain and a snake.
  22. Aye, I'll drive him there myself 🙄
  23. Never mind he was easy to replace for peanuts...
  24. Espanyol In 5th place now with Dolan playing regularly
