  1. Past hour
  2. hedges is ok to bring on a sub in the last 20 minutes,he won`t let you down in that dept,he is`nt starting material though,he`s got absolutely no pace since his hamstring injury
  3. If you are referring to Eastham, Goddard & Kahn, they are all out of contract this summer. Hilton also left in January That being said, I still see little point in Barrett being given a new contract
  4. We've got about 5 of them. We don't need him. He's 22 and pretty low down the backup keeper rankings. It's an odd contract to give.
  5. Look at Khadra who was in every sense better than Markanday, same age and had a decent time here which caught the attention of Sheff U. There he began to struggle in a side with bigger demands and expectations so now hes gone to somewhere a bit less demanding. Markanday will never step up at best he can be a squad player with the odd good cameo maybe but knowing how light our squads end up he'll have to start games. Very best solution is hope a bid comes in and get some money back.
  6. Not relied upon in League One playoffs by the underdogs. Get rid. Take whatever you can get.
  7. Agree, he's not shown anything to suggest he's championship.. Would love to see him step up and prove me wrong.
  8. Today
  9. Do I want Wharton to do well? Sure. If I turn on and see Crystal Palace playing, I hope he plays well (although I couldn't care less about how they do). If anything I sort of want them to do badly. They got a potential bargain from us and many of their supporters speak as if they 'discovered' him. That's annoying. I'm sure there are other fanbases who have felt the same way about players that we have taken as our own or treated like we plucked out of nowhere, but I have no interest in fueling that particular mindset by supporting them as if they did us some favour by signing him.
  10. Always liked the yellow and green West Brom, Bomber Brown away strip in the 70s
  11. Markanday is certainly not an exciting winger. Well, unless you ask rigger.
  12. No issue with Hedges staying he's a good squad man and probably won't be on big money but i just hope Ismael sees him as more of an away day starter than home one Or preferably he isn't seen as a starter at all if we can get something fresher in attacking wise.
  13. Hedges is limited in an attacking sense (too slow, can't dribble etc) but he is very solid defensively and helps his FB to shut down a side of the pitch, it's why managers like him that he works so hard defensively and in the press. He also adds a bit of experience to the winger group which is otherwise untested once we let Dolan leave. I wouldn't start him but he is a useful guy to have in the squad and to come of the bench when defending a lead/draw. People are quick to call for a more exciting attacker like Markanday but then slam him for being lazy defensively; ideally a player should do both (Dolan on one of his good days is close in that regard). Also we know any replacement would just be cheaper and worse...
  14. 2nd Saturday in June, as per the image Wils posted earlier today
  15. When does the League publish the lists? End of May?
  16. Completely agreed. But I wouldn’t think it weird to watch Madrid games and hope he wins or for younger fans to buy Bellingham Madrid shirts.
  17. Case number 1 tomorrow. 🎢We are top of the list I said we are top of the list 🎢 Will the judge turn up…
  18. Congratulations all round.
  19. Just a thought and it dies have a cryptic message this. What about the 4,000 hole fanzine having a sub name. 4,000 Holes coming to you from a stand for Tony.
  20. Jen is amazing, used to sit in front of her at Ewood and always enjoyed a catch up, refreshingly positive in every way
  21. The newspaper from after the 1928 final.
  22. Heading into next season with the same problems we had this.
  23. Ahhh thankyou, https://rovers.co.uk/news/2025/may/19/rovers-fans--bring-the-trophy-home--with-epic-charity-walk-/ Ah yes it was Jen with Mahktars cardboard cut out πŸ‘ welldone Jen!
  24. People keep mentioning his versatility when scraping the barrel for positives. Is he versatile? Is being equally ineffective on either the left or right wing versatility? Its the low cost and ease of the deal which made it inevitable.
  25. There is an honesty and work rate to Hedges game that I've always respected, and I'm sure if you are a full back you are very happy to have him covering you. I have to say though, I thought he struggled this season and would be concerned if he played as much next season as he did this.
