  1. Past hour
  2. The claim that Dolan was offered a new deal months ago simply doesn't tally with everything else that we've seen occur, and with what other senior players have publicly admitted. So unless they've made an exception for Dolan I know my money is on him getting the same treatment as everyone else - no offer worthy of consideration.
  3. I thought he'd had a contract offer on the table for months? Mental
  4. barrett and goddard are in their twenties and between them hav`nt played a first team game in the football league, thats tell us all both of them ar`nt very good, more evidence that the club is a farce when we`ve given both of them extended contracts😦 i think pears will be sold, can see michalski being toths understudy this year, thats if we don`t sell him at the first enquiry
  5. I stopped regularly buying football kits to wear when I stopped playing in my 40’s. I’d have bought this one to help the club if had been quartered properly. I may get one for my grandson if he likes it more than I do. I bought that 1960’s one that Herbies was selling on this site to wear when walking out in rural Spain. Now that is a cracking shirt that any Rovers fan could be proud of.
  6. Loosest ever application of the word "prime", there!
  7. There is no latest on Dolan as his contract isn't up until 30-06-2025. Just Jackson selling another story.
  8. With Scott Carson leaving City, maybe they'll want to fill the void with Pears..... I've no idea if any of our reserve keepers are remotely good but I can't see Pears wanting a full season playing second fiddle, can't blame him either at 27 he's in his prime.
  9. I didn't have a middle age spread then thought!
  10. Today
  11. I think so to lol he doesn't look happy
  12. I still randomly expect Pears to move over to the MLS at some stage, I think his Mrs is from that side of the pond
  13. When Rovers might get some clarity? See the blame the players narrative is well underway.
  14. Doesn't matter if you aren't spending more than 10% of it.
  15. Definitely a Rangers fan on his stag do I would say
  16. Cue the wails of '...but that's the modern game...' from those amongst us who also see no issue with all manner of random kick off times, because they can get to every home game no matter what.
  17. I wouldn't mind Crewe away, as I have never been to their ground.
  18. A resounding success means he would have won something?
  19. butcher was always prone to a flap or two,not the best shot stopper either,he used to get my dad shouting when he looked to be in one of his nervous modes, when rovers signed terry gennoe,he was never going to get the no1 shirt back ,gennoe was a top keeper,2nd only to friedel as rovers best keeper
  20. Whilst Wrexham's commercial income is likely far better than ours (due to better management, no 'small town small club, We've done all we can' claptrap there) What they haven't done is brought in £40 million through player sales in the last few years, which we have. So that rather significant windfall I'd suggest matches or outstrips whatever advantage they might have had there.
  21. Rudys idols, Crewe away.
  22. ‘Rovers’ Head of Women’s Football, Nick Birchall, said: “We are delighted to be able to announce a new ground share agreement with Clitheroe FC for the 25/26 season. As we embark on a new chapter for the Blackburn Rovers Women’s Club, the club were keen to ensure that we continue to play as close as possible to the Blackburn area, whilst ensuring we meet the ground criteria for the Women’s National League. The location and facilities at Clitheroe FC will provide a fantastic experience for fans of Women’s football and the capacity of the ground allows for continued growth of the game in the coming years’ Well, that’s one way of putting it.
  23. Usually first game away-days are great.
  24. If you look back before the contract announcements happened that Markanday should be released, not good and shouldn't get a new contract. What money are we going to get? and and what point offering a contract to him when he has been a regular here?
  25. Like Rashford at Utd sometimes players are on easy street when they sign long term contracts. They know they can be injured or drift out of form so they dont have to play. Then out of nowhere come the last year of their contract they rediscover their form and fitness to earn their mega buck new deal or move....any thoughts about Dolan playing well at the end of last year purely coincidental. The only players who differ are those who have already got their new deals sorted such as Brereton or Rothwell as they dont need to. Mowbray just kept his favourites sweet
