  1. Past hour
  2. There will be zero interest in Ismael, and he will want every penny of his 3.5 year contract. Which makes that contract even more ridiculous. We had no money to pay for Travis, or Hyam, or Brittain, but we clearly have money for Ismael. The only conclusion could be that they did not intend to have to sack him. Which is probably why they will now carry on regardless of how we perform
  3. I've always thought a visual protest, that can be done with no effort and straight from your seat at Ewood or at an away ground is a good idea. The red card idea is good, as said above, if you get enough people doing it for an away game on Sky, it would make a good impact.
  4. Given everything about the club at the moment is saving money can we actually fire him? On a 3.5 year contract that is millions more than we have. With JDT we didn't actually fire him, we came to a compromise agreement once he was offered the Sweden job. So we may be in a similar situation where we wait for Ismael to find a new job so we don't have to pay much compensation. Though I imagine Ismael will have a lot less interest than JDT.
  5. With the way we are playing, he isn't going to get the right coaching at Rovers
  6. Kevin Gallacher said on Radio Lancs after the Coventry game that VI still does not know his best formation. KC always chooses his words carefully so I take that as very critical from Kevin. He also stated during the game that we “will struggle in the Championship this season”.
  7. Apparently they did https://nitter.poast.org/PropaNortherner/status/1980750178803237161#m
  8. If they do pot him, despite it being a popular opinion, the subsequent media coverage (especially with the 150th occasion approaching) about appointing a new manager would once again put them in the spotlight, which they don't like. He'll stay until Pasha decides he needs another scapegoat.
  9. Manning is on thin ice but has been in post for a much shorter time than Ismael. Norwich usually reasonably patient - think he'll get another 2 or 3 matches. Would you want Pasha and Gestede in your corner when things are going badly wrong? IMO, a sacking now would be about 'self preservation' for the 2 stooges - I think we are in that territory now.
  10. I won't be going to the Southampton game, in protest at the shite served up on the pitch.
  11. Don't waste your money, Venkys et al always slow to act, (Coyle got until February...and Kean got a pay rise), would fancy Norwich to pull the trigger on Manning before we jettison Ismael
  12. Despite his 3.5 year contract, it would be no surprise to me if Ismael isn't gone by Saturday. He's the obvious scapegoat with his poor results record since being appointed, for Gestede's player trading failing miserably and also for the sparsely populated stands. Trying to find a bookie offering odds on Ismael being the next Championship manager to go.
  13. This is my biggest problem with them, he's managed roughly 30 games and I couldn't tell you what sort of team we are? What's the identity, what are we known for, how would you describe our style of play. It's not like we're tactically flexible or fluid, we have a plan of sorts to start off with (albeit a not very dynamic one) but as soon as the opposition change shape or we lose momentum we fold like a deck chair. As mentioned above, last night we're pinging crosses and direct passes on to Morishita and Kargbo rather than playing over them and trying to turn their back line, which would suit the personnel.
  14. sounds like the first team
  15. I'd personally prefer fan action in the form of protest in our around the ground. Sadly we are at the point crowd wise where people staying away wouldn't make that much of a dent
  16. There's already a 5 point gap between us and 17th
  17. Unlucky going off those highlights. A lot of heads down and looking at each other when the goal went in though.
  18. This ! Hardly anybody is turning up anyway, the get behind the lads ffs crew are sat at home themselves because they can't be arsed. Those who turn up sit there in silence looking like they'd rather be anywhere but there. It really cannot be that difficult to make just 1 statement and purposely stay away from one game.
  19. We definitely need protest, nobody turning up for the Southampton game, would turn a few heads.
  20. Today
  21. I've responded to the survey, happy to confirm I've identified our benevolent owners as the main issue, as opposed to ticket prices etc.
  22. Hopefully the majority of members push for protest and fan action
  23. Could be something like that. People could bring and hold up anything red really, as long as it's visible. Could be red carrier bag, envelope, buspass holder, anything someone could bring into the ground legally. All going to look the same from the distance of the directors box or a TV camera. Make it as straightforward as possible for people.
