Its always been short termism they wing it and cobble a squad together every summer there is no steadfast plan nor goal to build towards and never has been. I do believe that the occasional new man has come in with a plan and they to a degree have gone along implementing the foundations, in fact that's happened a number of times, only to then quickly change track and pull it all to bits again. With Venkys you are only ever a few weeks away from the next odd decision or situation no matter how stable or well things might be going on the surface. That will NEVER change. -

Read this as EU confirms no change on the Brittain situation. Was wondering what sports journalism had to do with Brexit! -

Speaking as a trained and qualified project manager I totally agree. A well-run project has a start and end. It also has an agreed set of objectives and ways to measure those ongoing once the project has been delivered. An ongoing project with no end is a bad one. That's not to say they don't exist and I've been involved in a few in my time - usually involving the introduction of tech. What people in football refer to as a 'project' should really be referred to as a 'programme' as that can be ongoing and has multiple phases (projects) within it. What is going on at Rovers doesn't seem to satisfy any of the above - I think the technical term is 'clusterfuck'. And I've been involved in a few of those as well π -

And a sport you could imagine playing for 'fun'. I play 6-a-side on a Weds evening and even that is starting to be infected with the pass it about all the time and play out from the back. Luckily most of us are old enough to ignore that and play the long ball sometimes or get to the byline and whip it in I wonder if the way the game is played now - and coached from such a young age - means that kids don't get to enjoy the old 'jumpers for goalposts' kick abouts we used to do. Even at 15/16 I was still playing in the schoolyard with lads of all abilities - including a couple who went on to play league football or high-level non-league. So rare to see players having a laugh - particularly with their opponents - these days. One exception was when Cole Palmer missed a sitter as his team-mate got in the way - his reaction was to kill himself laughing. Even in his interviews he seems like one who enjoys his football -

Missed 11 of 37 league games for Dundee with injury also He played 3 games for us then suspended for 3 then played 4 games in a row missed the next two then participated in the next 16 / 13 starts and 3 from the bench then missed the rest of the season pretty much with the hamstring injury Could be unlucky def could changed but in two seasons of senior football with different clubs in different leagues missing 27 odd games over the two seasons with injury would be concerning -
