  1. Past hour
  2. Has to be called off. No chance we can play in this weather. Unless they’ve done something the night before to prevent the pitch getting waterlogged which I doubt. Ah oh well at least we don’t have to watch rovers aye
  3. Big fan of Ohashi. Need to created more for him. Gueye, plan B but not first choice. Someone I would probably move on in January or next summer if we bring in a suitable replacement.
  4. I’ve taken the brave decision to stay at home in Lancaster, with the fire on and watch it on telly. Can’t be arsed getting soaking wet for another calamitous call off.
  5. Storm-force winds here, game would awful to watch if it went ahead. What's it like in Ewood area? Assuming they play, can't see anything other than another defeat. Ismael v Robins. What reason for optimism is there? Rovers 0 Stoke 2
  6. It wasn't a bad game given the conditions SG.
  7. There is a flood alert for the upper Ribble and hodder as far as Samlesbury. Think the Darwen goes into the Ribble. As the Ribble fills up will affect the Darwen. We need an eyeball on the outflow pipe at Ewood
  8. If the weather in Blackburn is anything like the weather in Rochdale I can’t see the game going ahead. We had 2” of rain in my back garden yesterday. Plus it’s pouring down now.
  9. Pitch had very little time to dry out overnight either... Begs the question, why can't we afford covers? I'd wager a cover costs around £2 5-8k?
  10. Not sure a pre game postponement would save much embarrassment though either. They'll want it to go ahead, desperately, so they can say "see our pitch and dogshit drainage can cope with rain". I watched midweek via the club broadcast and the amount of times they mentioned how we'd been impacted by the postponement was ridiculous, like we'd been really hard done to. The usual attitude from within the rotten club that we're never at fault, ever.
  11. Starting to come down heavily now, though. Enough hours of heavy rain ahead to waterlog the pitch. I'm still expecting a late call off, not least because officials, club etc will be desperate to avoid the embarrassment of another mid game abandonment.
  12. We were already in the bottom 3 after Wednesdays results onwards & upwards (or is it backwards & downwards) though 😉
  13. It'll be on. It's not dropped near enough rain as it did the other week. The wind will help
  14. The weather yesterday was much worse than the Saturday when we played Ipswich. Its meant to Sunshine and rain during the game according to the met office forecast
  15. Much worse where? I've been up since 6am and changed my mind multiple times whether it'll be on or not, it's inconsistent! At 6am I'd say definitely off, right now I'm not so sure as it's mainly the wind making itself known. Maybe it'll help blow some surface water off the pitch in some mother nature hairdryer effect 🥲
  16. Off topic - reminds me of Birmingham away a few seasons back. We arrive ten minutes late due to M problems but security wouldn't allows in ground. A~~holes!
  17. They've done a matchday tweet of Tronstad in the pissing down rain, what more could you possibly want 😳
  18. There's surely no way it's on - the weather is much worse this week than it was last.
  19. Today
  20. Come full time at 2:30pm there's a pretty strong chance we will have seen Rovers get beat by a Derby team containing our former management team, captain, and 3-4 other players. Unless something changes quickly we will be in or around the bottom 3 of the Championship. Odds are the weather will be crap as well. How many of the 8000 Rovers fans are going to hang around in those conditions potentially watching Derby fans/players/staff celebrate and gloat whilst Rovers get ready to play this 'legends' match afterwards? Not many at all I'd wager. It's hard enough getting people to stay in their seats for the 'lap of appreciation' after the final home game when we've lost never mind watch another match.
  21. The ticket offer is only beneficial to people who can make the majority of games. those people will most likely be season ticket holders already. The people the club need to attract are the ones who can't make the majority of games.
  22. Official club coaches are leaving at 9 am. https://www.stokecityfc.com/news/2025/september/12/ticket-information-blackburn-rovers/
