  1. Past hour
  2. Think there were a few dozen left in that camera side end block when they went off sale at 12pm… the other end block never went on sale.
  3. I'm positive he could walk into a contract paying him a lot more money than he's on here.
  4. Also goin with digital from the wallet. Can't expect us to get in with a print off that'll have the same code on
  5. I think one thing that can be said is Wharton and Anderson have the benefit of the game in England evolving in a way that suits their style. Scholes never really got to play as a deep playmaker until late in his career. Earlier he was played more as a number ten or (ludicrously, particularly for England) on the left which didn't make the most of his talents. His team mate Carrick also suffered from the national team not really understanding the importance of that role. He just wasn't picked at all when in reality his skillset was what was missing the most from the England team at that time. Tuchel gets it, and he is prioritising playing a natural deep playmaker over more experienced and lauded names, as he knows you need someone who can control a game in the middle of the park.
  6. Play some really nice stuff - get a few of these attackers in and amongst it.
  7. They are in administration but have been granted permission to sign 2 free transfers, as they have been able to present an improved cashflow forecast to the administrators. Cooper took one slot and both Nathan Redmond and Duncan Whatmore are training at the club, with the possibility one of them signs in the future. A bit mad that a club, which only a few months back couldn't pay their staff/players, can now present an improved cash flow forecast, whilst in administration in order to sign some free transfers (and pay their wages) Our hierarchy, have cut costs to the bone and would unlikely be willing to sanction the wages for a much needed experienced centre back, such as Cooper, who would possibly command a higher salary than either of McLoughlin or Miller. Instead we play Ryan Hedges at CB.
  8. KSN being a troll isn't exactly how you grow your viewer base.
  9. Still waiting to hear from him how Adam Wharton is ‘far better’ (which is what started all this, not if he was better or otherwise than other top Ferguson era players, ‘better’ being if he won some internal club bauble… anyone would think he posted a throwaway silly comment and has tried to deflect since).
  10. What a strange hill to die on. United fans rate Scholes as a top class player. He was. What else needs to be said? If Wharton has a career half as good as Scholes he'll have done bloody well for himself.
  11. I'd settle for someone that cares.
  12. I don't know for certain but as I don't have a printer we will using the digital ticket to access the ground. Presumably they will scan the printed ticket at the turnstiles so I don't see any difference. It seems pointless to issue digital tickets if you are mandated to print them off assuming Nobbers use the same environmental excuse as Rovers.
  13. To be fair ‘nobody knew he was good’ so maybe that’s why they kept hold of him…
  14. I'm not saying it couldn't be the reason but seems unlikely in this instance to me. Why would Cantwell and his agent be keeping quiet about this? When he left Rangers there wasn't a queue of clubs waiting to sign him and that's why he ended up here. Last season was his form any better than when he was at Rangers? Not really imo .He started this season well but I still don't think he would have a massive amount of interest currently
  15. Very likely. Remember this deal dragged on for a while when we signed him. We paid nothing at all up front and it was all based around him hitting certain numbers and a hefty sell on clause.
  16. Silly question. I can add the tickets to my google wallet and they show as a barcoded ticket. However the delivery method states "Print at Home" and the ticket attachment which is a "print at home" ticket says "Please ensure all tickets are printed" Last time I went to Preston it was with printed tickets. I presume you can enter the ground 'digitally' with your phone?
  17. No coincidence that the last two players they managed to get to sign new contracts were both huge Rovers fans. No, Ribeiro doesn't count.
  18. Today
  19. It does feel like we won't be seeing any players of Cantwell's calibre at the club for a long long time once he is gone.
  20. Because they’ll have watched Scholes a lot more than people getting nostalgic over 3 minute clips of him now
  21. The only person who's conflating "PL best.." and Man Utd POTY is you. Why do you hold United fans' opinions so highly?
  22. Weird that he’s never mentioned in the conversation of PL best left backs then isn’t it. Needs Paul Scholes PR man
