I think youve maybe not factored in that a % of the new signings will just prove unsuccessful. Yeah he responded in absolutely the right way. Kargbo does have something about him. Fast, can strike a ball well, beat players, played a nice through ball yesterday too. Obviously he has also shown himself to run down blind allies, lose control of the ball cheaply, not track back. But as he gets more used to the rhythm he should improve. You fully expect a drop off in results and performance whilst new players settle in, get used to how we play and what their role is, etc. Also you factor that certain experience players want to move on would you dont

Through all the years I've played football, it doesn't bother me if people aren't that good but a lack of effort is completely unacceptable. When you're talking about professionals who get paid £10k per week, effort is the bare minimum required. He was rightly called out for his lack of effort.
