Not sure if it's been suggested before but could it be worth running a Linkedin ad campaign? Target the ads at Venky's/VH Group staff in Pune. Link ads through to a website detailing issues at the club and asking Raos to sell. It should be pretty cheap to run, highly targeted and get staff talking?

I agree with you especially on the way loyal supporters have been treated and the rest of the football world couldn't give a monkes when its happening, and the way our wonderful owners have completely destroyed the club that we all love. A club with such a glorious history and tradition and fighting spirit, reduced to a shambles a shell of what it once was, it breaks my heart as a Rovers fan. The only thing I hang on to is one day they will be gone and supporters can have the club they know and love back. I hope its soon rather then later when theres nothing left of it to give back to us.

I went through a period of my life where Rovers came before everything. The generation before missed children being born and weddings had to be in the closed season! I do agree with your comment NR, but for some, it’s still the only thing that matters. Hope you’re well by the way 👍

Venkys was enough to stop me going. I saw them for what they were straight away. For those that still go it's just one thing after another. If it isn't the sky high price or the deliberate sabotage of the entire season then it's the EFL changing the kick off time and date to suit sky or whatever other media conglomerate wanting to show the game for some reason. Just a disgraceful situation where the fans are treated like utter shit by the club, the league and the media corporations. You can't hold it against anyone who says fuck this and jacks it in. I'm genuinely amazed they still get as many people turn up as they do. They certainly don't deserve it.

I am not criticising the academy or individual players. I am criticising the club for setting arbitary targets which I feel creates a conflict of interest, and am also criticising the club for putting an unrealistic burden on producing players that are capable of playing in the Championship. All for the purpose of saving money. You've taken your own interpretation of Gestede's messages in your usual blinkered way and have assumed its all part of a viable and logical plan. You've also not acknowledged the reasons why we had so many academy minutes 2 seasons ago. One now departed special talent and also a lack of depth to the point where we nearly went down.

Do you think those PL clubs are going to play him? Or do you think he will sit in their academy for a year before loans to successive EFL clubs, eventually being sold off. PL interest has no bearing on whether a player is ready for the championship.

That is where yet again Mike you are misinterpret my comments. Mike, like I said different people have different commitments and different situations. I have been very open and honest that Rovers is my main social activity and that I can make every home game without other commitments getting in the way of my attending games at Ewood Park

We have always develop our own players and we should carry this on for the future. Yes I question you over your comments about academy players because you are very quick to point out their negatives and what they didn't do which is always your focus in my opinion. We see when the season how much our academy players play but I don't what is wrong with have 3 players who one is very highly rated and chased by big PL clubs and 2 players who played last season show their worth for me.

That deposit has to be carrying a lot of the weight there, surely. Lease costs might have come down too, I dunno, but that's a huge difference in vehicle value for you to be paying a smaller monthly. Either way I expect you'll really like your new car. One thing Polestar and Volvo will do together is help Volvo avoid the fines for not producing enough EVs as a percent of their sales in the UK. Any petrol/diesel car sold above the allowance means a hefty fine, and companies who sell more than enough EVs can sell their credits to other companies to avoid those fines. Or in the case of Volvo and Polestar, probably just give them to Volvo. If Volvo are already selling enough EVs as a proportion (I've no idea if they are), then the credits can just be sold to other companies like Ford who probably aren't meeting the requirements. Other countries have similar schemes.

Venkys ownership has killed just about everything else in one way or another so season ticket sales just go hand in hand with that. Nobody trusts them from one week to the next even most of their 'defend the status quo' mob if they are being honest.

If we'd offered him a "decent enough wage packet" we wouldn't be in the current situation. Agree, he won't get a PL move but are there really any less progressive or ambitious Championship clubs than Rovers? I think not. Again Chaddy, I think you are trying to defend the indefensible.
