I don't think anyone is saying Leonard should have been kept as a starter. If they are then I disagree. But he would have been a much more useful option from the bench than Gueye. According to Peterborough fans, he does run himself into the ground for them (He’s a very good player and he’s only going to get better, I like him, his work rate is phenomenal), maybe not to Ohashi levels, but by the sounds of it, loaning him rather than selling him, would have enabled us to bring him back and rest Ohashi for the last 20-30 mins of games and not change too much with our set up.
