  1. Past hour
  2. did he win a trophy that he promised at the start of the season that was his target?
  3. I don't think that's fair. Broughton tried to get Phillips tied down and his agent bent us over a barrel. They gave minutes to him AND Finneran before they were ready to convince them that there was a pathway to playing first team football here.
  4. The 3 promoted/relegated sides aside, Spurs are statistically the worst team in that league. But yeah, Postecoglou has 'delivered success'.
  5. Biggest disappointment of the day was Forest's failure to beat Chelsea. Forest have had a wonderful season and no one likes Chelsea. Spuds revert to type after their lucky Europa win - the manager will be gone soon. No one likes them either. Glad it's all over. Monotonous, ;pointless league enlivened this season only by Forest's unexpected success.
  6. Amorim has said repeatably that he won't change his formation and that the players must adapt to his style of play and formation otherwise they will be not playing Newcastle and Spurs have both won trophies. Newcastle have played some good football and deserved Champions League football. Villa in the first half didn't have a shot at all. I stand by what I said about Spurs should stick with Ange Postecoglou and he deserved a trophy which Spurs fans wanted. He has delivered success. If I was Levy I would stand by Ange Postecoglou and looking to bring in a few quality players like another striker, wide player, centre defender and defensive midfielder.
  7. Gregg Broughton tried repeatably to get Dolan to sign a new contract but Dolan didn't. He has changed agents now and he hasn't wanted to signed a new contract but Eustace and Rovers wanted to keep him. based on what?
  8. It pretty much does have a full English breakfast, as part of brunch on Fridays and Saturdays.
  9. Strange then that it is the most popular on global TV.
  10. Today
  11. Man Utd and Tottenham being crap (and the CL places going down to a not exactly elite fifth) has led to this narrative to how open and meritocratic the Premier League now is. Top 4? Liverpool, Arsenal, Man City, Chelsea. The more things change…
  12. Charlton promoted to the championship for next season
  13. Newcastle failing into 5th sums up the PL this year. Ref obviously had a mare in the United/Villa game, but Villa should still have been beating that awful United team comfortably. I think they may regret throwing away such a golden opportunity this season - Forest too, although their good season was much more unexpected. Meanwhile one of next season's PL "Champions" League representatives loses their final game 4-1 at home to Brighton, completing a season of domestic humiliation. Took a look at the Spurs forum and they all seem to want Ange gone. Give 'em hell Chadster.
  14. It's not as if Derby won't have a clue what they're currently paid by Rovers
  15. Ref as Incompetent as our owners. He should never be allowed to ref again.
  16. Villa scored, incorrectly disallowed and going to miss out on a Champions League spot here cos the referee has blown the whistle before the ball went in the net so VAR couldn’t intervene.
  17. It’s unreal, there. One of my favourites.
  18. I think here all the focus is getting them into the first team whilst they are still on youth wages. Then just hoping the odd one is worth big wonga before they have to be paid a big enough wage to keep them here.
  19. Sunderland are a better example. They have grown the value of their squad by keeping hold of their Academy starlets. Then selling when in a strong position. I think they had the most academy players playing in the championship this season
  20. The parachute money used to be to cushion a club after it spent big trying to compete in the prem. Now clubs go up, lube up and bend over and come back down £150 million richer.
  21. Dullest league in the world
  22. Schadenfreude at the plight of the snowball-throwing fans? Burying the dirty cash bodies? Blackburn who? Ie can't remember owning a club Plain fucking stupidity, inner because they don't know what to do next, who to trust. If we're really faced with a slow death, then what is the point any more? It might not even be slow. Back to back relegations and we're completely done for
  23. and then it will be Forshaw signing up for another year 😉
  24. Right back at ya 😉
  25. One bad season is was it used to take, but this season has shown that the promoted three are often so bad it just isn’t the case anymore.
  26. It'll be 1600 pages by the time this lot getting anything over the line.
