  1. Past hour
  2. Yep, isn’t on by the looks of it… https://www.skysports.com/championship-scores-fixtures/2025-12-01
  3. I edited my post as you replied, we are pretty much "aligned" in our thoughts 😉
  4. Because Barrett will still be here when all those depart/get sold. Nobody is paying money for him, so as you say in your earlier post he will be then seen as an "experienced head" to sit on the bench in league one, whether we are there next season or the year after.
  5. Because this is a rearranged game from a Saturday, I don't think it will be on the red button or televised at all. Unless you are "abroad" maybe 😉
  6. I would agree with that argument if he was the cheap 2nd/3rd choice travelling with the squad. But why extend his contract when we already have at least 5 (Toth, Pears, Michalski, Goddard, Honor) better options, & then loan him out anyway? It would have been cheaper to just release him at the end of his contract last summer. This one I put down to incompetence (or pre planned relegation) rather than penny pinching
  7. Questions... How do you know they won't do offers? Does my friend have to stop for the entire game? Where does he collect his tenner from?
  8. He's cheap, that's the only criteria here.
  9. I can only imagine it is preparation for him sitting on Rovers bench once we have been relegated & we have either Goddard or Michalski as first choice
  10. You just cant predict this side,a weekend Accy nightmare. Will it be the confident, attacking side against Preston or the timid, lathargic shyte v QPR?....flip the Coin, roll the Dice. 1-1

  12. Today
  13. He was on the bench because Tranmere opted to play 44 year old Joe Murphy ahead of him. Again the question from me is why on earth he got a deal until June 27 with the option to another year after that.
  14. People on here seem to be creaming themselves over Wrexham in a similar way they were about Preston before that game too. Easiest win for Preston all season blah blah blah. I wouldn’t like to call it but they’ve not been battering teams or indeed scoring many goals. 6 goals in the last 5 games, 3 of which came against Coventry. Should be going into every game thinking we can get a result especially against bloody Wrexham. 2-1 away win, Hyam OG and Gudjohnsen.
  15. Cantwell will most likely be back but I doubt he’ll start. He’s been out for two months now. Will be eased into the squad. Could possibly start against Ipswich though given our run of games, squad needs rotating somehow.
  16. On to.a.whoopin here...Our thin squad will come em embarrassingly unstuck...Cantwell in line for a start yet?
  17. Yesterday
  18. Think Montgomery is seriously out of his depth. We cannot start with him in our midfield.

  21. I called penalty at the time on Gudjonson's first half chance that hit the post. I've seen the replay since and it's definitely a push from behind, otherwise it was a tap in. For me, should have been a penalty and red card.
  22. He's been in charge for just over 9 months - played 15 home games and won 3. I missed the Millwall game after the shite run of performances beforehand (first time in 30+ years I've chosen not to attend a home game) and was on holiday for the Southampton game. I've seen them win once at home under this manager and last Friday away at North End. 2 live wins in 9 months ffs. No doubt, he is contributing big time to low home attendances regardless who put him in the job. Before last night he needed to win 4 out of these 5 home games over the next 3 week period to change opinions - big pressure next Tuesday against Ipswich now.
  23. Absolutely. It feels like a hammering is on route and I suspect this fixture will be it. 3-0 Wrexham.
  24. And I would rather save my money, than fund the running by the incumbents.
  25. We are being run as if in admin without actually being put in admin, for now. If they don't return to the previous funding levels and nobody turns into a 10 million quid player pretty soon then more shit will hit the fan. More downgrading.
  26. A terrible first half as a result of totally losing our midfield battle. Miller and McLaughlin content to pass sideways endlessly, it was unbelievably frustrating to watch. Second half we started playing more forward balls and getting the wingbacks more into play which got us forward more and created chances. it was a tight game and it was obvious that the first team to score would go on to win it. Unfortunately Gudjohnsen had two really good chances where he should have scored but didn’t. If he had I’m sure it would have given us the confidence boost and we would have gone on to win it. It’s all about fine margins and a poor bit of play by De Neve gave QPR a lead to hold on to. I’m worried about the next few games without Tronstad because we haven’t got the power in midfield to cause the opposition problems.
