  1. Past hour
  2. I used to get “ LoadsAMoney “ from the late and much lamented “ Sportspages “ just off St. Ann’s Square in Manchester. My mate was a Darlo fan and I used to get him their fanzine “ Mission Impossible “ from there also. Great title for a Rovers fanzine these days.
  3. Indeed! From the centrespread of 4,000 Holes Issue 1
  4. In the article that was posted on here it definitely said it was for abandoned games.
  5. Candi Staton - Stand By Your Man
  6. He’s obviously been paying attention. 😁😁
  7. I might be wrong, but I think that is for postponed games rather than abandoned games.
  8. The club are not offering a refund to anyone who cannot make the midweek rearranged fixture. I thought I saw on this site, a post that showed EFL rules stating that a full refund should be given to people who cannot make the new fixture.
  9. What size are you? We still have a handful of these absolutely top quality shirts in stock…😉
  10. Not at all. If they pay the bills there is nothing any regulator could do to stop bad owners being bad owners, unless any (more serious) legal issues arose. Otherwise you'd end up taking a club off someone just because they employed Russell Martin.
  11. No. In this day and age the only feature that determines a good/bad owner is whether you pay your bills on time. If you do you can do whatever you want. If you don't you'll get everyone - PFA, FA, EFL, media coming down on you like a ton of bricks. Let's remember that if it wasn't for the late / non payment of wages there would have been barely a murmur about the owners at Sheff Wed and Reading. It ALL comes from not paying wages/bills.
  12. December. That's usually pretty rainy.
  13. So as predicted the rearranged fixture will be taking place midweek on 2nd December 2025. Why on earth a game cancelled in September needs to wait the best part of 3 months to be replayed I am not so sure but hey, a few weeks before Xmas, dismal weather, should ensure a low turnout. Could have been played in October. Rovers also saying that ticket holders will pay 'half price' for the rearranged fixture which I find odd. In most previous examples surely it would be free entry to those who bought for the first game? Can't imagine the Ipswich lot will be too happy about paying twice but welcome to Venky Rovers. Maybe they'll bring their usual 1000 rather than the tourists who turned up for the cancelled game.
  14. ESPN: Regulator says that bad owners may be forced to sell It's ostensibly about Sheff Wednesday. As Venkys have "always paid the bills" would they fall into this category?
  15. You might appreciate these…I’ve never bowled better in my life…😆
  16. It was a re-gen of Loadsamoney…
  17. Today
  18. Is it wise with our flimsy squad, last thing we want our injuries.
  19. Coventry have averaged 3 goals a game in there opening 9 league and cup matches. A tall order this one, I'll be surprised if we get anything out of this one. There were promising signs against Stoke. Hopefully we can give a good account of ourselves against Coventry, and get something from the following 2 home games.
  20. I understand Rovers are playing the Dingles in a friendly on Friday morning at their training ground. Hopefully some of the fringe players will get some game time.
  21. It was mentioned recently on here that Joseph, because of his size was more likely to physically dominate opposition players as he came through the system but last night (in the second half) both of Orient's centre halves were the equal of him physically. I thought he coped really well against them both. He does have a strange gait and at times looks unathletic but I have been told he is really quick which along with his physicality is a real asset.
  22. Read the comments section: 'they are to be cherised and appreciated' No Rovers fan in their right mind would make a stupid statement like that.
  23. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/25524021.venkys-4-8m-blackburn-rovers-investment-explained/
  24. Joseph looked a little clumsy at times but he's definitely a handful. Batty needs to be on loan for me and 21s football isn't what he needs. Powell always impresses me and is tireless in his work ethic. Certainly one to watch. The lad in goals looks like a real presence at 19. Not sure why we don't see more of him?
