  2. Think we can all agree, he’d have been a better option than Henriksson in Andri’s absence and been more of a goal threat.
  3. In a hundred years time, it will be worth about £200, that will probably equate to about four bottles of beer.
  4. Yep, no human would write ‘belongs-on’

  6. I don't think anyone is saying Leonard should have been kept as a starter. If they are then I disagree. But he would have been a much more useful option from the bench than Gueye. According to Peterborough fans, he does run himself into the ground for them (He’s a very good player and he’s only going to get better, I like him, his work rate is phenomenal), maybe not to Ohashi levels, but by the sounds of it, loaning him rather than selling him, would have enabled us to bring him back and rest Ohashi for the last 20-30 mins of games and not change too much with our set up.

  8. RIP Tony Fields 💙🤍 Forever a Rover🌹
  9. Howzat! Expert cricket analyst gets bowled again - this time at a canter
  10. Probably a rough equivalent to him getting about 5 goals and 2 assists at this level if he was a regular starter. Which is worse than Ohashi has done, who people complain about, and minus the epic workrate. Still not too fussed he has gone. Has the potential to improve of course given he is still quite young, so we will see how he does. Good luck to him. If we were a normally ran club my main thought at this stage would just be that I hope we put a decent sell on in.
  11. He was about two feet in front of me when he did that. Was that the game where Endean kneed it over the bar from an inch out?
  12. Yesterday
  13. Dumper Endean. Didnt he nick or borrow a dumper off a building site to earn his nickname? Sure he did.
  14. Was it last season Martinelli was off the pitch "injured" and Arteta urged him to roll back on to get the game stopped ? Just hope they don't win it, not a very likeable club.
  15. Before Millwall at home presumably. Gueye not been in squad since Portsmouth (week before) and Tavares was dropped to bench for Millwall and not been in squad since.
  16. The multiple uses of a dash and an unwarranted colon are sure fire giveaways it was written by Ai as well
  17. Martinelli thing was poor but I thought he deserved 2 yellows nothing too drastic. We see that happen quite often it just so happened this time the lad was actually injured and I think Martinelli has had a lapse in judgement and thought he was time wasting.
  18. In my group, we loved Tony Field, Kit Napier and Johnny Price, whereas O'Mara was a misfit. A lot of Rovers fans had affection for Endean too, but he didn't light up a game like the other three. Even after all this time, I can feel the pain of Ken Furphy's departure and the negativity around Gordon Lee's introduction and the poor end to a promising season. A few short months later, Gordon Lee was a football God!
  19. Agreed on Price but he wasn't in the starting X1. Remember Napier being described as "mercurial". Very good on his day but there weren't many of them at all to the best of my recollection.
  20. Tavares is terrible. Knew he was unprofessional when he was texting throughout a pre season game he was on commentary for.
  21. Blimey, Kit Napier wasn't crap! Neither was Johnny Price.. I remember that Rochdale away game too. Tony Field did score and he had pre-planned his celebration in front of the away end, actually forming 100 with his fingers! That Rochdale win made it 5 wins in a row too. Promotion form..then....
  22. One is definitely Tavares...Strikes me as someone who isn't arsed.
  23. £120 for something blatantly ‘designed’ on ChatGPT.
  24. Let's just say the one I said had moved hasn't moved yet - I thought he had. 2nd 2 are incorrect and both were signed in the summer.
  25. 3 tossers then i don't care who they are and i'm with Cantwell on this one.
  26. Waggott is gone and he did have contacts in the English game. Since Mowbray, we had JDT and Eustace under Waggott's watch. Before then, the awful ownership and various cronies gave us SK, Appleton, Berg, Bowyer, Lambert and Coyle. A pretty poor bunch, I am sure most will agree. Indeed, Mowbray was the only exception. After Ismael I shudder...
