  1. Past hour
  2. It is a definite job for the boys. Those thick fans will never notice and if anyone kicks off, we will threaten them will legal action, or ban them.
  3. That buzzword. Development. That's what they want our expectations to be across the club, rock bottom.
  4. If ever two paragraphs that summed up his career.
  5. No solace to be taken from that arbitro...It was THE worst defeat for Blackburn Rovers fans, total humilation.
  6. It’s pitiful and you have to feel sorry for the girls being sent out to flounder but we are treating them like 7 year olds. The official account tweeted how the application and attitude was there for all to see like somehow that’s what we should be pleased with
  7. They have destroyed, and will continue to further destroy, everything about this once great club. The only question is how much longer it continues and what state it is in by the end. Hopefully we still have a club left to rebuild from but I wouldn't approach that with confidence given the amount of damage done up to this point and a continuing refusal to leave.
  8. Our heavy defeat wasn't the worst of the weekend.
  9. Can confirm the shirts are incredible quality, very pleased 👍
  10. https://eflanalysis.com/news/50m-case-cited-as-efl-urged-to-u-turn-amid-potential-legal-battle-after-blackburn-vs-ipswich-town-decision/?utm_term=Autofeed&utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Facebook&fbclid=IwZnRzaANGIqdleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHtj5hOFRuPKVFq2tdtnyHSRo6oCo24T3bzxox6OJ8aU2rm-r6-U1n39_S8Io_aem_LrqTISBwlltqJp1j82L9Yg#Echobox=1758906714 Seemingly Burnley have got an on going case for compensation when Everton stayed in the Premier League at Burnley's expense despite financial irregularities.
  11. Just feels so damn hollow with these Clowns at the Wheel...those running our Club into the ground dont deserve to bask in the glory of our proud past.
  12. Today
  13. Blackburn Rovers have paid a heavy price for their parent club's decision not to bid for a place in the Super League. The subsequent loss of key players led to such a weakening of the team that they have been relegated from the Premier League after four years in what was the top level of the women's game. Rovers' fate was sealed in the final match of the Premier League season on Sunday with a goalless draw at Barnet. This consigned them to the Northern Division 12 months after they finished seventh in the table, above Birmingham City and Bristol Academy, both of whom are now playing in the WSL. The Blackburn club secretary, Gemma Donnelly, said: "It was very disappointing that we weren't able to bid for a WSL place after being involved right through the consultation process but the [men's] club felt they could not offer us the financial support required in a league that wasn't a proven entity. The above is from 2011. Quite some going to get both mens and womens teams relegated within 12 months. On the above the same happened again as this summer, the players were told not to worry, all given dossiers and the presentations etc and at 11th hour it was kaboshed. Everything we needed to know about this ownership that trickles through to the mens team eventually which is why everyone should care about how the womens team are treated. For context Burnley Women were in the 6th or 7th tier, Rovers were in the Prem and THE women's club in Lancashire and one of lesding teams in the North West of England, alongside Everton. The mens teams, as we know. Rovers were in the Prem averaging 25k , Burnley championship 14k average. These bustards care not 1 bit about our club. What we are witnessing is shameful.
  14. Ismael's managerial career to date, starting in 2014: Nuremburg - 5 months and 14 games Wolfsburg - 4 months and 17 games Apollon Smyrnis - 3 months and 1 game LASK - 14 months and 50 games Barnsley - 8 months and 44 games WBA - 8 months and 31 games Besiktas - 7 months and 19 games Watford - 10 months and 41 games Average tenure - 7.3 months Average games - 27 Rovers - 7 months and 19 games (and counting). Within a few weeks he will have eclipsed his average tenure at a club and with another 8 matches will have matched his average games in charge at a club. Most of the above decided to sack him - infact the only one he walked away from voluntarily I think was Barnsley to take up the WBA offer. Gestede and Pasha in their infinite wisdom decided to give him a 3.5 year contract.
  15. It is less than a month to the next FF on the 20th October. Shall we ‘open a book’ on whether it will be postponed and also the reasons / excuses given? I bet it is odds on the FF will be postponed. The reason will either be a flooded pitch, or the Club are working on what to organise for the 150th anniversary.
  16. Maybe it was Waggott leaving that gave Pasha an opportunity to downgrade?
  17. I could add at least another 5 or 6 names to that list of Pasha, Gestede and Ismael. We are employing some dead weight who would not be tolerated in any other private sector business. However employing yes men and women serves a purpose when the top dog does not like to be challenged…..you can see that with how they treat non employees.
  18. I was told his debut was delayed as he had a holiday booked in Ibiza and he just never showed up again. The last they saw of him was when he was pictured signing on (along with two pints of lager on the table with the signing on forms).
  19. Coventry away has been the worst Rovers away display I have witnessed for each of the last 3 seasons. Portsmouth and Charlton are very close behind. I am keeping away from Coventry away this October in the hope we can turn up and put in a half decent performance for once.
  20. Given that the people who seem to have appointed him, are on record as saying we have a stronger squad this season that last, perhaps they can explain why we are so much worse this year then. Sack them all NOW.
  21. I was at the player of the years awards in April 2024 and it came over loud and clear from Waggott, how much they were praising and focussing on the achievements of the ladies team. They had Elton Ashworth from Watson Ramsbottom, presenting the awards to them, player of the year, young player of the year etc. Also, at that time Watson Ramsbottom, were the front of shirt sponsors for the ladies and as we now know, that led to the current deal, which is in it's second season. Given all this and how it seemed so important at the time, to have a reasonable amount of success, for the ladies, has it ended like this?
  22. He's an abysmal manager. We concede the first goal a lot under him and have conceded a lot of goals, sometimes 2, within the first 10mins of a game. If he loses tomorrow, he needs sacking. And no @chaddyrovers, I'm not joking. He'll have had 20 games in charge, losing over half of them (11) and winning just 6.
  23. Women's team has been turned into a joke. utterly shameful. I wonder if they Wii see the season out? No respect from Rovers, tearing us apart.
  24. He's been in charge now for 18 games - only five short of half a season - and has amassed a grand total of twenty one points. (Plus a home defeat to Bradford in the League Cup we aren't allowed to mention.) I dont expect that ratio to improve.
  25. https://www.kirkstile.com/ I was in The Kirkstile Inn over the weekend, a Lake District institution. The main reason I went was for the Steak n Ale pie, a better one you’ll struggle to find anywhere. So much so I’m sharing a picture, my mouths watering……Give it a go if you’re in the area, but book, even at lunchtime.
