I saw nothing of what tuchel wants tactically. I just saw the same shit we saw under Southgate pass sideways backwards
-
Have we had any young players remotely ‘make it’ to some degree in our first team who were on loan at non-league level in their 20’s? Or indeed at any age 18+ (Genuine question, I can’t think of any)

Didn't we offer David Lowe this role but wasn't he interested in that role? I actually thought it was ideal role for him given his background in youth development and experience Mike, we have been looking for a loan manager for around 12 months. -

Hard to argue with you on your points. Rhodes understand how important it is for young players to get the right loans and last season we witness Jake Garrett get 2 loans where he didn't play and his development stopped. That's what I will judging Rhodes is the kind of loans he gets our young players and whether they are playing enough to develop -
Well I am no fan of Tuchel and don't think he should have been appointed as England National head coach, The time to proper judge him is the world cup not these qualifiers. On today's performance, you got more of sense of what Tuchel wants tactically but these games are difficult cos Andorra will just defend and defend without trying to offer much going forward. Our best player was Elliott Anderson who shown what you want from your number 6 and what his role is.

Glen, I recall there being an important point revealed at number two on the first letter. Could you please put that part on here too? I think it would be helpful to remind people. It mentioned there being a contract between Venky's and Crescendo Sports Ltd of Brunei, as well as the contract with Kentaro in point 1. Crescendo would also provide "consultancy services" on the takeover, not too dissimilar to Kentaro. There was a comment in there about the Venky's-Crescendo agreement coming to an end as soon as the takeover completed. However, there is nothing solid to say this agreement has ended in reality. I don't know if anybody has ever chased this up or if the Authorities ever had confirmation of the Crescendo agreement ending. I think this could be a key part in the whole sorry tale. To summarise, we are supposed to believe that: 1) Venky's-Kentaro fell out with one another, settled out of court and that arrangement subsequently came to an end. 2) The Venky's-Crescendo agreement came to an end as soon as the takeover was completed in November 2010. I am not so sure on both counts, but that's just my opinion. Kean leaves the club in 2012 and immediately heads for Brunei? Some coincidence, that. We could do with those two points being put to the shadow man for clarification. Now that's the kind of transparency I want to see from those at the club.

Thanks to my son not listening to clear instructions we’ve double booked tickets for Finals Day, so if anyone needs a pair (face value £75 each), DM me.

No, but in my opinion it would be. We've a difference in opinion, let's leave it there. -
It also doesn't make it the wrong one. What it does make it, is the one we will play.
-
It's been a desperately difficult watch, granted, but surely you have to give him one chance to show what he can or can't do in a tournament.
-
He didn't play too well for a prolonged period due to carrying that injury. To be fair most players play on with knocks or niggling injuries, but this one hampered him enough in the end that he had to rest. I can't watch him play, used to give me goosebumps when he was still a Rover.

As if Lee Carsley is the man to turn things around. The quality available has fallen off again. Key players have all had their day and we have big drops in quality in certain areas. The squad is not one of the best around now. If Dan Burn is close to your first 11 then you arent an elite national team. Not saying that Tuchel isnt doing his best to make things look even worse.

Sorry mate but I thought it was generally accepted on this board that something being the managers decision doesn't automatically make it the right one? I understand that, literally speaking, playing all 3 is an option. I just don't think it's advisable, given the limited players in that position, and their respective injury records. -

Thank you, I stand corrected and appreciate your knowledgeable updates. With this info, it looks a far better move but, nonetheless, I do wonder if a League 2 move might've been possible. I suppose, arguably, it may not be of great quality difference. Edmondson is, supposedly, one of the brighter U21 prospects and Rovers are in dire need of some these to come through, at least as squad players. -
Lancs through to the Blast Finals day. Shame it's sandwiched between two England T20 internationals so the best players won't be there.

If it is what the manager thinks is the best formation for the players he has at his disposal, That is his decision. If a center-back becomes unavailable, you revert to a back four. Plan B's are not just for the forwards.

Sorry I mean the broader sense of 'play 3 centre backs' as in regularly. I don't think it's advisable to have all 3 senior centre backs on the pitch at any one time. -
Tuchel makes Southgate look like Kevin keegan
-
Fa need to hold their hands up and admit tuchel was a mistake and sack him and bring back carsley

£87 million of this was racked up in the first 5 years of their ownership. ‘Only’ £47 million was added between 2015 and 2024. (Total £134 million)

My impressions of todays game is that the commentators speak utter shite.

Tuchel needs to go

The pace of the game is slower than me, the morning after a night on the beers. Awful to watch, this.
