  1. Past hour
  2. Maybe he's analysed results and performances since Selles arrived, spoken to key players and staff, and concluded their chances are probably better with a different coach? All concepts that are long gone from this club but actually occur everywhere else where there are owners keen to get somewhere in the game rather than just make up the numbers every year.
  3. Hull's owner actually invests in his club and wants them to get somewhere and isn't afraid of making big and potentially expensive and risky decisions to achieve something. Might work, might not, at least he can say he's tried and I'd rather be in their shoes than ours. Compare to our owners he's a world away and not in a good way for Rovers. Our owners have and would again sit back and allow a failing manager to drag the club into the lower divisions purely because they have no interest in the club's performance. No other owner would allow that. They deserve no credit at all for showing 'patience' which is actually total disinterest nothing more.
  4. Ty is an absolute credit to the club - has given his all, always fit and available, has played week in week out for the last few years, a rarity in our squad. Fans expect him to tear it up every game, but the defensive side and covering side of his game has really come on, and to perform at that level and keep fit is something we shouldn't take for granted. When he's on it, he really is on it, and at times he's lit up Ewood all on his own. After certain games myself and fans around me have found themselves walking away saying you wouldn't miss him, maybe we can cope with him leaving, he can go etc. His inconsistency is what frustrates fans, as it comes from a place of genuine love for the lad - I think we all know his potential. He's got to capitalise on it now while he's young and I wouldn't begrudge him a move in the end, he deserves it for being a dedicated performer. If he did perform week in week out at the level we all know he can play at, then he would have left Rovers already, plain and simple. I'm more worried about the club's ability to replace a player with those attributes, even just the very basics of someone you can rely on to play 60-70mins every week tearing up and down the pitch, involved in chances and coming back to cover, without periods on the treatment table, for an entire season. It says more about the state of Rovers, that we couldn't afford a player like Ty Dolan if he was at another club. That's the bit that depresses me the most about the whole situation.
  5. He can't have been that much of a fan of Telalovic as he hardly ever started him . Clearly JDT wanted better
  6. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c1ldvn4j48zo The Leadmill to leave venue after losing appeal A Sheffield institution, lets hope they can find anther venue.
  7. That was entirely the objective. Previously, a shit season could see you down and someone (although it was still very difficult) could go on a blinder and win the whole thing. Absolutely not a chance of either of those things happening now. Even shit small clubs like palace and Everton are safe no matter how shit they are because there will always be three teams that are just completely gash. That's before you even start getting into the complete lack of atmosphere and passion from the attendees.
  8. I agree there, they were definitely wrong to sack Rosenior
  9. I've honestly no problem with a minutes target for Academy graduates - our Academy is the only reason we still have a football club, in my opinion, it's saved us over the last decade of incompetence / budget cuts. That said in order to promote youth you simply HAVE to have a strong core of 15-18 players in your First Team. We obviously don't currently have that and won't spend the money to make it a reality either.
  10. You could set your watch to it.
  11. Today
  12. Both shouldn't be here next season.and their contract shouldn't be renew
  13. I would say that isn't the case. If our head coach has decide something and I disagree I Will say. I thought loaning out Duru was a mistake. Should have been Brittain back up not JRC who isnt a right back I believe in giving our young players a proper chance and if they are ready then bring them through. Aged shouldnt matter.. Agree on Garrett l. Injures is Leonard's problem
  14. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/23786661.gregg-broughton-explains-mystery-blackburn-rovers-medical/ Broughton said during a podcast with Elliott Jackson that JDT picked Telalovic over this La Liga
  15. Another pathetic decision by another trigger happy head coach. 12 months ago I said he was wrong for sacking Rosenior now he is good job at Strasborg. Hull struggling last season. Oh well these trigger happy owners don't learn.
  16. Realistically that was the 'bigger' clubs objective all along wasn't it? Big sighs of relief all round at Utd and Spurs this year that the gap is so huge now between the haves' and 'have nots'
  17. Subscribed through Spotify recently and listened to this walking the dog yesterday, great episode. Keel up the good work πŸ‘πŸ‘
  18. Why would Chelsea not want him for sod all though, if in France he becomes good enough to attract a big money bid from City? Even if they're not sure if he is ready yet, I'm sure they will be at the front of the queue, and not having to pay much to, essentially, themselves, to take him if he gets good enough. And if they already think he's good enough, why wouldn't they do what KE is describing, just because they're willing to spend when necessary? It's still no reason to throw money away, and it helps skirt financial rules.
  19. Ruben Selles set to be sacked at Hull. .....awaits @chaddyrovers outrage
  20. Get him in a NL midfield with J-Lowe and they’ll rip the league up.
  21. Thanks for the kind words and continued support for the podcast @Bronzed A Donis Well done Ian @Herbie6590 also, the podcast is a fitting tribute to the memories of a wonderful season. Well done, all that hard work has produced our best podcast yet!
  22. Took a while but Corry Evans has at least found his level now.
  23. We can afford better, just choose not to.
  24. Got themselves a good player there.
  25. Exactly, the PL is now increasingly a defacto closed shop, just with a floating few clubs bouncing in and out of it.
  26. The problem is, they might be, but it is all we can afford.
  27. But top 3 absolutely dominated---100 points,100 points and 90n points----then Sunderland with 76. I'm absolutely convinced that Burnley and Sheff Utd will be relegated and promoted yet again.
