  1. Past hour
  2. From afar (well the other side of the ground) it looked like Darragh Tuffy. The game itself wasn't much of a spectacle but to be fair it was one we could easily have lost. Our goal was terrific with an excellent touch from Mullarky-Matthews killing the ball which was a difficult one to control and playing in Boggan who made his mind up early and smashed the ball into the net. More worryingly was how sloppy we were in possession. Their goal came from Dunn trying to play a ball on the half turn without recognising that a Middlesbrough player behind him. There were many other examples of turning over possession cheaply through carelessness. Batty once again looked disinterested as he seemed to be going through the motions. On a night when the majority of players were worth 6 only Goddard rose above this. He was dominant when coming for crosses and made a few smart saves.

  4. So nothing counts from that game except the red card from which someone other club will benefit and the cash that people paid to watch a game that's null and void? Way of the world! Presumably season-ticket holders won't be charged to see the "second" game!
  5. The first prize that we will give away to a subscriber is a terrific unframed print…all will be revealed soon…👀
  6. Our very own @DE. does a terrific job summarising the league so you don’t have to…👌
  7. Not against 10 men though and I suspect that’s why this decision has been delayed. It could well set a precedent this, given the red card needs to be considered.

  10. Pears and two other subs?
  11. Rovers letting in 3 after the 90th minute in our last two home games before Ipswich rather undermines our case to be given the points.
  12. Just give us the points and everyone move on.
  13. Definitely a contender - although the fact that their supporters mostly couldn't be arsed to travel all the way across London tends to make it a one-sided famous occasion!
  14. Yesterday
  15. In fact the ref could have opened himself up to other legalities (or perhaps the league would have been deemed responsible) if a player had suffered a career ending injury because their leg got caught in the ground at the wrong moment.
  16. It wasnt as simple as that. He clearly was the player with the transplant, he has not taken that hat off even in the pissing down rain. But he had been training in pre season, was seen training for example in the Spain pre season camp, and asked and played in an under 21 game to keep fit weeks before his spell frozen out of the squad ended, which happened to also be the first game post transfer window closing.
  17. That isnt a reason to carry on the game. No matter what decision is made, it wont be a comparable substitute to playing the game when it was supposed to be played. But the game couldnt be finished. The pitch was unplayable. It is as simple as that. They cant carry on and finish a game on a totally waterlogged pitch, where the ball wasnt moving, wasnt bouncing and was also a clear injury risk, just to avoid these unfortunate legalities.
  18. What about the full members cup final?
  19. Im a bit confused about which is the more up to date post from Nixon, the one saying they need more time or the one saying the decision is quicker than expected and is due tonight. If it's the former and there is any indecision on behalf of the EFL then tbf that's better than I was expecting. I was expecting a relatively quick announcement that the game would be replayed in full.
  20. Is it any more logically different than organizing a full 90 min match? Got to find a day, get a ref, and get the team here. 10 min or 90 it’s the same, only difference is ticket sales and of course the 1-0 score and 10 v 11
  21. Not more of an advantage than being 1 nil up against 10 men though. But yes, it would probably be better for them than if the rain had relented enough to get the game finished on the day. They'd also get time to plan exactly how to deal with having 10 men against us. But again, it isn't happening any more than Venkys giving us a 50 million quid warchest in January.
  22. Apparently it was a botched hair transplant which meant he couldn’t train hes back in the squad now we thought he was dropped but no he just couldn’t train or play
  23. Don't be a wetwipe post whatever you want.
  24. We were winning 1-0 until 80mins nothing to suggest we can’t do that again and get to 90mins and hold on for a victory if we need to come on you rovers
  25. If that ball hadnt of stopped infront of Kargbo we would be looking to the next fixture by now
