That account could have been speculating with the following, but the info shared was that the signings of Batth, Weimann and Cantwell were supposedly 'compromise' signings sanctioned to prevent Eustace from walking last summer. Further, it was suggested that Waggott went direct to Pune, bypassing Pasha, to get those signings done. If true, it means Pasha didn't want them. Remember he had already said no to signing Batth a year earlier. Now that Eustace and Waggott have gone, Batth and Weimann have been allowed to leave. Cantwell being our highest earner, it would be no surprise at all if Pasha wants to move him on this window and save on the wages.
