  1. Past hour
  2. Seems like another young tall athletic type, that looks to be the criteria. Does this take up our final ESC spot? With another midfielder coming in, it really does leave you scratching your head at the Forshaw signing.
  3. I'm pretty sure the players who travelled today aren't too happy about it. To gather 6AM in the morning at Brockhall, presumably go by train or coach to Manchester Airport (1 hour), take flight to Amsterdam (1h 20 min), and finally travel by coach to Nijmegen (2 hours). Posters on here say they arrived by coach to the stadium around one hour before kickoff; not ideal at all from an injury-risk perspective as they would have limited time for any warm-up. After the game, they take the coach straight back to Amsterdam and later depart for Manchester or Blackpool. Players will have spent at least 8 hours travelling back and forth today and were most likely exhausted when they finally got back home around 10-11 PM; can't really say this was a 'friendly' treatment towards them.
  4. Shame that these minutes have not been released. Given that certain people were there, that donโ€™t normally attend, itโ€™s pretty obvious now that, the minutes written, do not reflect some of the more controversial things that took place. The whole thing is a total waste of time.
  5. Seen a decent amount as I follow that league pretty closely. I wouldnโ€™t say he stands out if you take the whole league into account, a good player who plays for a team thatโ€™s suited to his strengths would be a fairer description. Always hard to tell how well someone would make the transition to Championship football, his playing style certainly wouldnโ€™t be out of place but playing 40+ games in a season will definitely be a challenge. I think he could operate in all midfield positions, even as a winger, but I see him as competition for Tronstad and Travis more than Cantwell even if Iโ€™m not sure the club agrees.
  6. bloody hell,it`s a bit late for medical is`nt it,i wonder if pasha is aware of it,he`s probably put a stop to it because the doctor wants overtime๐Ÿ˜€
  7. Midfielder number 58 possibly on the way but still no credible links to any forward players whatsoever. Grim times.
  8. Yes, Swedish media reported that he was diagnosed with the disease back in 2021 shortly after his knee injury. Medical staff at his current team (GAIS) have provided medication (immunosuppressants) to enable him to play more matches. Seems to be a resilient character given he was released by his former club (also in Allsvenskan / Swedish top tier) due to the knee injury only to prove them wrong by performing well last season.
  9. I work in East Kilbride. Today EKFC played their first ever professional league match. This is local lads Paul McStay and Ally McCoist at the game. Both terrific players in their day but McStay seems to have morphed into Louis Walsh!!
  10. He's got a goal nearly every other game from midfield. He's 6'2. Might be a decent signing
  11. At first I thought we should keep away from this deal. Now if he signs I really hope he kicks on. As a crohns sufferer for years I know first hand how hard it must be to be a top athlete whilst fighting the illness. Must be a very strong minded lad who looks after himself very well
  12. Heโ€™ll be gone by the end of October. They donโ€™t suffer fools gladly on either side of the great divide up here.
  13. They arranged the game weeks ago. No excuse not to travel yesterday and stop over. Amateur.
  14. Have you ever said anything positive? I know we all hate how the club is run but try having a balance look on life.
  15. Have you seen lots of him? If so, considering we play 2 deeper midfielders and one further forward. Which of those would you consider him to be more likely to play here, the more attacking one? And is he stand out in that league and do you think he can do it in the Championship?
  16. I didn't read it as embarrassing, more that they took a late chance to play a good level of opposition prior to the last week of build up. There are many things to worry about, Rovers travelling on a coach and coming straight back isn't one of them.
  17. Itโ€™s certainly not needed, but Iโ€™m sure itโ€™s a nice little revenue stream for the club, particularly these days with football tops being both fashionable and collected.
  18. He was dubbed a 10 million player by Mani (or at least, whoever Mani says told him at the club). To my knowledge, Mowbray never said anything publicly about his value. There's no way in hell he's on 15k, he wasn't close to established enough or promising enough at the time he signed his last deal. It's very unlikely he is on 12k. We don't pay our academy graduates well. He's likely on less than 10k, I'd guess in the region of 8 or 9k. Which is still enough to get shut.
  19. Today
  20. Looks like he's the man Val was talking about. Not a clue about him but reads a good player - Sadly puts an ends to Baradji though. I'm hoping there's plenty of funds for a good right winger as that's the priority here.
  21. Pretty impressive report I must say. I see a few sources mentioned regarding match ratings and market value but where is it getting all the attribute ratings from? Has the AI been watching clips on Youtube? hahaha. Seriously though, he looks a decent player. Biggest problem will be adjusting to a higher tempo as Swedish Allsvenskan isn't as fast-paced and playing / being available for 46 matches in a season. Let's see what happens.
  22. He did well apart from dispensing with the wall that allowed their player to fire in a 30 yard thunderbolt that spanked his left hand post with him nowhere.
  23. None of us tbought it was genuine , just saying why we disagreed with it anyway.
