den Posted May 17, 2005 Posted May 17, 2005 A crowd of "well over 10000" expected tonight. Official site
Flopsy Posted May 17, 2005 Posted May 17, 2005 is it having an internet broadcast on Radio Rovers tonight?
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted May 17, 2005 Posted May 17, 2005 Your a first class wind up merchant Waggy...I have a feeling you'll be there Lets hope we can push that crowd towards the 15,000 mark with late sales.
waggy Posted May 17, 2005 Posted May 17, 2005 i will not be there that's for sure, anyone who has gone from sutton street to brockhall village does not need my tenner
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted May 17, 2005 Posted May 17, 2005 You could always ask Tony to lend it you back interest free if your skint! ....get your arse down you miserable sod.
bellamy11 Posted May 17, 2005 Posted May 17, 2005 I'm not going because I think Tony Parkes is poor and needs my money. I know that used to be the point of testimonials but it's far more than that. I'm going because he was a loyal servant in a game where such a thing rarely exists any more and he deserves my attendance for this one game. I also want to celebrate our ten year anniversary and this will be my last chance to do so with the people who made it all happen. But hey, maybe it's all just a scam so that Tony can take advantage of us and steal our cash, eh?
waggy Posted May 17, 2005 Posted May 17, 2005 as you get older bellamy you get wiser, like they say a fool and his money are easily parted
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted May 17, 2005 Posted May 17, 2005 (edited) as you get older bellamy you get wiser. Were you the exception to that Waggles! What about the Championship celebration...you not up for it? Edited May 17, 2005 by SIMON GARNERS 194
Flopsy Posted May 17, 2005 Posted May 17, 2005 For an apt demonstration See Here (sorry Jim) I would go but I dont want to make the trip from Birmingham and back for testamonial - if i was on saturday i would, but it isnt so im going to save my petrol and sleep.
waggy Posted May 17, 2005 Posted May 17, 2005 from what i remenber off the championship side they all chose to leave us,none were sold with the exception off pearce,if i want to remenber them i will watch the video
daviemac Posted May 17, 2005 Posted May 17, 2005 Been for four tickets this morning. Ticket office lady reckons "over 9000" been sold. Probably another 3000 will pay on tonight. Can't wait I bloody hate the close season
den Posted May 17, 2005 Posted May 17, 2005 Can't wait I bloody hate the close season Ah don't worry. Another 4 weeks and the nights start drawing in. Footy will soon be back then.
Martin Posted May 17, 2005 Posted May 17, 2005 Myself and the lady friend will be purchasing tickets sometime before kick off. I really can't decide where to sit. If there are any people in Blackburn and the surrounding area who aren't going becasue Tony Parkes is rich blah blah! For god's sake just go. Close season can be a long, long time andIf anyone deserves a testimonial it's Tony. I am using the last of my student loan travelling over from Scunthorpe. Then it's overdraft time. What's a tenner anyway? It's not often we can watch the Rovers not having to worry about the result. Go and Enjoy. I deserve a medal .
Lee Posted May 17, 2005 Posted May 17, 2005 is it having an internet broadcast on Radio Rovers tonight? yes
bob fleming Posted May 17, 2005 Posted May 17, 2005 is it having an internet broadcast on Radio Rovers tonight? yes Now he says! I've gone and bought a ticket now! Prediction time: 0-0. Hughes should go with a 4-6-0 formation - keep this one real tight. Sure it's a testimonial but let's not get giddy just 'cause we've stopped up. We should stiffle the opposition and then hope to sneak a corner or something on the break. Whatever happens though, surely we can't lose this one.
mattym Posted May 17, 2005 Posted May 17, 2005 Will this internet broadcast be free by any chance? 316710 Have you Checked the Official website ??
Lee Posted May 17, 2005 Posted May 17, 2005 is it having an internet broadcast on Radio Rovers tonight? yes Now he says! I've gone and bought a ticket now! 316706 I was just about to lambast the poster for the above comment, when I spotted who made it
Liam0001 Posted May 17, 2005 Posted May 17, 2005 Hi All Im going down tonight to get the players autographs. I desperately want Alan Shearers for sentimental value although I could easily get down for one of the ebay merchants. Anyone suggest a time to go and catch the players, maybe 6.00PM? Liam.
Brownie Posted May 17, 2005 Posted May 17, 2005 My mates have just been down to get their tickets and were told the BB End Lower tier is sold out !
