AC Milan have stayed in Serie 'A' because the evidence against them wasnt strong enough to relegate them.

Roma, Chievo and Palermo will take the Champions League spots.

Decision on the 2005 & 2006 titles to be confirmed at a later date.

Still unclear as to who is now going to be Serie A champions , also Italian FA will have to decide who will now be in the Champions league and this has to be done by the 28th so not much time for a appeals to be soughted out.

It said earlier on SSN the clubs have 3 days to appeal to the punishment, but the appeal I would of thought be considered and soughted out quickly, it's only if the clubs decide to take it to the law courts outside of football that it will get interesteing.

Actually what does happen to the CL places, do they let two teams from another two countries into the competition or just give four teams in the third round of the qualifying draw a bye and let them in. If they were to give them to another a league/s / country/ies shouldn't it be England and spain due to us having high Uefa Co-efficients if that is the correct phrase. Not saying that i think this should happen or is even likely to happen but it would be nice if us and Spuds were thrown into the CL instead of the Uefa Cup. :)

With that 30-point deducation there is no way Juve are getting back up at the first attempt.

...ignore my drivle about the Cl places please....

Juve will lose most of their players for sure- they are not going to overcome a 30 point deduction to get promoted from Seriew B very easily when there are Lazio and Fiorentina keeping them company.

Neither Fiorentina nor Lazio have the financial strength to withstand a season out of Serie A and at least two seasons out of Europe without dumping players.

AC are not that good a prospect for "big club" players. Out of the CL next season and a 15 point deduction means making the CL for 2007/8 will be no formality.

So who wants whom?

30 points??? dear god - whats the chances of them getting relegated?

Well, in the Prem only the top 5 would have survived a 30 point deduction

The top 6 in the fizzy pop

Only Southend in League 1

Only the top 3 in League 2

So, a distinct possibility they could go down again.
