I say, good show Watson!! There seems to be alot of info on the site. I haven't poked around to much just yet. You have to register just once. I registered as a supporter of course. The next time you visit www.givemefootball.com you're in. It appears more official then i was expecting. It gives options for searches. And your search will give player info such as height, weight, age, photo, etc... There is also a "make inquiry" button so to speak that i didn't want to press. It appears for managers and club officials. Thanks USRoverME.

I pressed that button - all it does is give you an email address for the PFA to express an interest in the player!

Hopefull Paul will start to work some magic in the transfer market in the next few days/weeks. It'll be interesting to see how he steps up from signing League One/League Two standard players.

It's the transfer market that worries me with Incey.

Sparky and his team proved to be excellent in bringing in quality players on a tight budget.

Let's hope Incey can do the same. (fingers crossed).

I see that Clinton Morrison is a free agent. Any news on who may be looking at him Nicko? I have always thought he was quite good and I know that we have enough strikers but on a free might be ok to stick on the wing?

Will Ince be given his scouts recommendations straight away, or will he be concentrating on the training side for the moment?

Well if thats not a saving face comment Theno I don`t know what is. You have been a bit of an arse about all of this. Throwing your rattle out of the pram saying you` re off to the golf course if Ince is appointed and now an about turn ( it would appear )

Will you be going to Ewood this coming season? Simple question. How about a simple answer.

A quick perusal of Theno's signature will tell you everything you need to know. A new dawn is upon us ... time to let bygones be bygones for both new managers and old posters.

Cant say I approve of the "Players at this level shouldn't need much coaching" line - but do approve of the your going nowhere Mr Bigmouth (Bentley) ethos.

Though I agree with your concerns - if a player hasn't learnt how to stay onside by McCarthy's age - then maybe he has a point :wacko:

He obviously sees himself as a man manager, rather than coach - looks like he models himself on Fergie. Interesting times ahead - but obvious he needs a good back room team or it could turn sour quickly. Lets hope him not taking the qualificaton isn't a sign that he is slow to take on new ideas.

Well it's sweet FA to do with you of course..... BUT yes I will (if it's to wet for golf) cos I've already got my ST. All I've got to do now is get it changed to the Darwen End Lower. :P

Johan Elmander. £11 million or so bid. Totally over-priced if you base it on his Euro 2008 performances.

Would make the wonderful Arshavin a snip at a similar price.

Bolton have signed Muamba and want Elmander, sounds like they will be shelling it next season...great!

Elmander was played out of position as a winger in the Euro 3008. He is a striker and a class act.

On a lighter and distracting note...

Amazingly there are TWO clubs trying to sign James Harper from Reading for £3.5 million.

If that is the asking price for a run-of-the-mill midfielder I don't think the Rovers kitty is going to go too far this summer.

Harper is a quailty player!! I think that is quite a good price!!
