RibbleValleyRover Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 Typical Rovers start Warnock went to ground to early...
Lathund Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 Samba and Warnock to blame for that. Samba followed Adebayor when he dropped deep, then didn't bother to track Ade's run that resulted in goal. Warnock got beaten too easily by SWP.
bigbrandjohn Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 Typical Rovers start Warnock went to ground to early... caught out of position, take the money
RibbleValleyRover Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 (Please don't use that word again) sake Roberts, gets easily muscled off the ball by Bridge!
RibbleValleyRover Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 City far too much time on the ball. Where's the pressing? the closing down?
spencey7 Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 Does Jason Roberts' constant grinning like an idiot annoy anyone else?
rovers1993 Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 we're getting into the game abit now... having chances. specially peds going in for the header from lars cross.
HemelRover Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 Its not all doom n gloom though. We are playing some nice stuff....some long balls as well to to be honest. McCarthy looking sharp.
bigbrandjohn Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 Jacobsen putting over some sweet crosses. shame about the goal, we are regaining our composure
adopted scouser Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 Rovers playing quite well actually - Samba missed from point blank range
RibbleValleyRover Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 I wish Di Santo had started, offers much more of an aerial threat than Roberts.
Miker Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 Does Jason Roberts' constant grinning like an idiot annoy anyone else? No, but you annoy me. Jacobsen's been putting in some good crosses. We look as weak defensively as we did last season though... way too vulnerabe against pacey players...
Harry Balls Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 FFS Roberts! On a positive note, Jacobsen's distribution from the right has been really impressive. If Robinho keeps letting him go (which he will), that's going to be our best outlet...
Iceman Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 I would rather have the ball in the back of the net, than a striker who is a bit of a nuisance to defenders. Same old Roberts!
RibbleValleyRover Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 I would rather have the ball in the back of the net, than a striker who is a bit of a nuisance to defenders. Same old Roberts! Considering how few chances we create with the players we've got i have to agree.
tony gale's mic Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 Yep don't understand for the life of me why we didnt start with Di Santo. We desperately needed some star quality if we were going to try and match City, and while I like Roberts as a player and think some people are harsh on him, he's definitely not star quality.
