Dyche knew how to manage him. without him burnley may have struggled

Claytons Left Boot
Witton Albion finished runners up in the Evo Stik First Division South. On Tuesday evening they beat AFC Rushden & Diamonds 1-0 in the play off semi final. Good game in front of 580 spectators with around 75 making the trip up from Rushden. Saturday sees the Albion at home to Spalding in the play off final. Hoping for another decent crowd and promotion to the Evo Stik Premier Division.
Claytons Left Boot
Witton Albion won their play off final today, beating Spalding 2-1 in front off 811, around 20 from Lincolnshire. Well deserved victory, Witton took the lead midway through the second half only for Spalding to equalise three minutes later with an absolute worldie that Lionel Messi would have been proud of. Spalding's first effort of real note on goal. A knock down from a long ball and their lad hit it on the half volley from around twenty yards out, quite wide. The ball canoned into the top corner like a rocket and also managed a bit of a swerve as well. He'll never hit another like that if he lives to be one hundred. Witton went back in front with twelve minutes remaining and held out for the win. Great celebrations at the end with fans surging onto the pitch in delight. The Evo Stik Premier Division awaits! Husky
We're in good company. I see Atletico Madrid did a similar thing to us after going 2-0 up . . sitting back instead of cashing in whilst the other team were rattled. *tuts*.

Backroom DE. Posted May 24, 2017 Backroom Share Posted May 24, 2017 Pretty disappointing Europa League final. Ajax had no answer to Man Utd playing ultra defensive and got hit with two sucker punches. Say what you want about Jose, but he wins trophies. Backroom DE. Posted May 24, 2017 Backroom Share Posted May 24, 2017 Just now, Stuart said: I thought United just wanted it more but yes Ajax were poor. Both teams looked laboured to me - the effort was there from both but United were just set up perfectly to nullify anything Ajax attempted. A tactical masterclass from Jose. It might not be pretty, but he knows how to win in finals. Ajax looked like a young team who had no idea what to do when Plan A failed. The entire match they never deviated from tippy-tapping the ball around the eighteen yard box. More experienced players would have seen much earlier that it wasn't going to work and tried different things.
