RibbleValleyRover Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 Might need Phil Jones back soon, defense all over the place in these last few games.

brfcjon Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 at least we are playing good and entertaining football under the new regime huh....
danielwhite813 Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 Conceding four against wigan is shocking.
magicalmortensleftpeg Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 Someone get Roberts off. The worst player Rovers have had in 8 years. Ashamed to have him in our side.
Rovermatt Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 F***ing disgrace. Wigan are terrible and we've just rolled over.
jimw1988 Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 4 goals conceded to a terrible Wigan team!My God thats a disgrace!Looking down rather than up im afraid!
Iceman Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 (Please don't use that word again) this ######, again the condition of the pitch should have seen us xhange our style of play. yet again Kean has failed with tactics
Dan Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 Our ###### forwards need to learn how to stay onside. I can't see how we are going to get 2 goals with Roberts and Diouf upfront, they are both pretty useless.
RibbleValleyRover Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 (Please don't use that word again) this ######, again the condition of the pitch should have seen us xhange our style of play. yet again Kean has failed with tactics The pitch isn't the problem. Wigan aren't launching the ball from back to front 90% of the time, they have shown you can short pass and move on this surface.
G Somerset Rover Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 Just seen that Wigan had scored 12 at home in 13 games this season before today. FML
Plastic Head Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 You wanted entertaining football Mrs Woman. Maybe we should bring number 17 on???
rebelmswar Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 This was always on the cards after what has happened. The minds are on other things.
shraffy Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 poor offside call - mame should have been alone in on goal.
Backroom Tom Posted February 5, 2011 Backroom Posted February 5, 2011 So far I've been a defender of Kean and co but really this is inexcusable, without seeing it you simply can't concede 4 against a team in the bottom 3 and want to stay in the league. Lose next week and morale may be rock bottom and it will be really hard to stop the rot. Kean has a huge task this week in getting the players heads up.
Rovermatt Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 I'm sorry but this is completely unacceptable (I suspect the owners will agree with me). To go 1 up and then blow it so spectacularly speaks to an inherent weakness that's been floating around this team all season.
LeChuck Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 This result has been coming for a long time. We've been gifting opposition teams chance after chance, it was only a matter of time before we got thumped. I think Kean's out of his depth. If it was easy to set up teams playing 4-4-2 attacking football then every manager would do it. He needs to get street smart or we're ######.
Pinch Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 JJ will def. keep our "bad boy" tag intact. Reckless at times that lad.
SamTheShrew Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 Is this as bad a performance as Ince at Wigan?
OsloRover Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 JJ will def. keep our "bad boy" tag intact. Reckless at times that lad. Needs to get subbed, he is losing his head atm
booth Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 (Please don't use that word again) this ######, again the condition of the pitch should have seen us xhange our style of play. yet again Kean has failed with tactics I was just saying that. For example Salgado tried to pass a simple ball along the floor, it rolled then stopped dead and one of the Wigan players picked it up. Similarly annoying is the way we get into dangerous areas then overpass it, then go backwards, then lose the ball. I'm fast beginning to fall out with Mr Kean. He's sticking to his tactics that rigidly he's becoming like the anti-Sam.
tony gale's mic Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 Really good to see us playing such open, expansive football these days...
Dan Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 How ###### is Diouf, absolutely rubbish at finishing and his first touch has always been awful. These two things are why he'll never be a top player.
ptholt Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 radio rovers still trolling out the bad pitch stuff, this is lancashire in Feb and Wigan are on the same pitch arent they? terrible shot by diouf, no even on target, barn door shooting practise needed.
