Brfcrule1 Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 Precisely. I've never been one of those who looks at others to do us a favour. One must always take responsibility for their own fate. Our relegation will be entirely self-inflicted. I ask myself the same question every night why couldn't our owners have bought someone in in the summer to ensure we weren't in this position again. As kamy says this season has been a shambles and just surviving in this league can't be viewed as acceptable.Big changes have to be made in the summer.
Brfcrule1 Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 Wenger must hate Mark Hughes. yeah I just wish as it was unfolding today why couldn't Arsenal just stuff Qprthen hate Sparky!.
SAS Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 Can't believe wolves did not win, they battered Bolton. That penalty was ridiculous, shows the standard of refereeing that ours was missed yet a blatant dive is rewarded.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted April 1, 2012 Moderation Lead Posted April 1, 2012 Definitely think yesterday couldn't have gone worse for us. Not watched MOTD yet, but it sounds as if Bolton have had a nice assist from the ref.... Edit- Just seen Bolton's pen, my word!!!!
thenodrog Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 As we all knew a team near the bottom would 'go on a run' to safety. I didn't think 3 would! Do we have a fifth gear too? Personally I don't think so. Kean's psychological mismanagement for the Bolton match might be the kicker for us.
Neil Weaver Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 Fifth gear Gord?!?!?! How often have you been to Ewood this season? I'd settle for third, maybe even play two consistent halves.
John Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 Just been watching Moyes and Kenwright on Goals on Sunday - both speak sense and can see why Everton have been doing so well. Not aware of the full reasons behind them, however protests which have been taking place at Everton seem a bit harsh? Be careful what you wish for Everton fans....
J*B Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 Just been watching Moyes and Kenwright on Goals on Sunday - both speak sense and can see why Everton have been doing so well. Not aware of the full reasons behind them, however protests which have been taking place at Everton seem a bit harsh? Be careful what you wish for Evertton fans.... Don't you think commenting on things you don't fully understand is a tad stupid? That's the exact problem which has had most of this forum up in arms for the past 12 months - people giving their opinion when they don't truly understand. If fans of Everton are protesting there must be something very wrong, Everton are a respectable club with, in the majority, respectable fans.
John Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 Someone woke up on the wrong side of bed... You might notice in my post that I said I am not aware of the full reasons, plus pose a question..... Also I don't think my original point is that stupid - a change in ownership doesn't always mean things will improve.
Backroom DE. Posted April 1, 2012 Backroom Posted April 1, 2012 Someone woke up on the wrong side of bed... You might notice in my post that I said I am not aware of the full reasons, plus pose a question..... Also I don't think my original point is that stupid - a change in ownership doesn't always mean things will improve. It isn't, not sure why J*B's gone off on one there. Everton fans main gripe has been with the lack of funding, perceived selling of good players and lack of decent replacements. There has also been a sizeable portion of fans calling for Moyes to go, which to me is unbelievable.
Mattyblue Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 Kenwright's problem is that he's not rich enough. Not a lot he can do about that, however Everton fans issue (I think) is that he's turned down a fair few takeover bids. On that score, their fans should be careful what they wish for.
Backroom DE. Posted April 1, 2012 Backroom Posted April 1, 2012 Everton fans' disgruntlement is very similar to our own under the Trust... except, as Matty says, Kenwright has refused takeover bids which has angered the Everton fans. The Trust, on the other hand, couldn't wait to get rid of us and sold us down the river as soon as a viable bidder appeared.
adopted scouser Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 Andy Carroll, £35m of fail. Cheating an 'all, glad Newcastle winning

If fans of Everton are protesting there must be something very wrong, Everton are a respectable club with, in the majority, respectable fans. And with no money to spend they are top half and in the semis of the FA Cup! I wish we had their problems. Andy Carroll, £35m of fail. Cheating an 'all, glad Newcastle winning Liverpool created several chances but can't put them away and can't defend. if Coco's watching, get as many crosses in to their box as possible.
J*B Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 Someone woke up on the wrong side of bed... You might notice in my post that I said I am not aware of the full reasons, plus pose a question..... Also I don't think my original point is that stupid - a change in ownership doesn't always mean things will improve. Rereading my first post has come across awfully. The only point I'm trying to get across is if this whole Venkys debacle has taught me anything, its that if people are protesting against something they love, there's something seriously wrong.
cn174 Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 Andy Carroll, £35m of fail. Cheating an 'all, glad Newcastle winning As is James Perch. :@ Liverpool are proper cac, whats the betting they'll all be better by time they play us.
adopted scouser Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 whats the betting they'll all be better by time they play us. Guaranteed !
cn174 Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 Is that Reina out of our match? Should be unless he appeals it. I've never heard of their 2nd choice keeper
adopted scouser Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 Glorious scenes at the Sports Direct Arena. St James's Park !
frosty Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 Should be unless he appeals it. I've never heard of their 2nd choice keeper Doni, he used to play for Roma, who I follow, he's not very good
Backroom Tom Posted April 1, 2012 Backroom Posted April 1, 2012 St James's Park ! Nope Also Reina was right to go even if perch threw himself to the ground. How come kenny is allowed to walk on the pitch and not get sent to the stands? The once great manager seems senile almost these days, truly clueless
John Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 See Gerrard shouting at Dalglish too when he was on the pitch.
