cruz Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 People dint like him because he was poor player, end of!! Some people never game him a chance because of the league he came from and being Ince's pet. Like you say for the majority the fact that he was not the required standard sealed his fate. Can't blame him for having a pop given all the moronic abuse he got just for stepping onto the pitch when asked

chris Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Ince may have signed Andrews but he did sign Robinson too so I'll let him off. I never hated Andrews but he has too much of a negativity about him, that was not healthy. We could have got 3 million for him about a year ago, turned it down.
booth Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Some people never game him a chance because of the league he came from and being Ince's pet. Do you seriously believe that? It's nothing to do with Ince, it's to do with the fact he wasn't good enough and despite what some say, did not put the necessary effort in. Unless putting the necessary effort in is strolling around, caught out continually ball watching and not marking anyone in particular.

If he was putting the effort in he could a least have flown into tackles. Jogging over to the man with the ball then standing 5 yards off him is neither closing him down, nor helping the team.
Kelbo Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 IPswich after winning their first game well, bought Andrews lost last week, Andrews came on as sub, started tonight lost 5 - 2 at home tonight to Southampton!! But Keef scored
Stuart Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 Hope there's no 14 day cooling off period in the loan contract!!

AggyBlue Posted August 17, 2011 Posted August 17, 2011 I see he scored last night in the loss against the Saints
A cup of beans Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 Andrews scored again, and Ipswich hammered again keep scoring, pointy! maybe a championship side will be daft enough to pay money for him in the jan window!
philipl Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 He wouldnt be any worse than Dunn at the moment. To be honest he would. Yes he scored quite possibly the best goal I've seen so far in England this season but as the Posh struck back there was an all too familiar figure being by-passed/directing traffic as 7 went in the other end. He was outstandingly horribly culpable on one in particular.

He was outstandingly horribly culpable on one in particular. I believe he was to blame for the recent riots as well. Ever heard of the halo effect Philip? Do you think that it applies to you and Keith? Hey, here's the thing - Keith plays for Rovers; he's to blame for everything we do that's wrong - obviously. He doesn't play, and we are suddenly even worse - doesn't matter though, we can sort of start supporting Ipswich, and then we can carry on blaming Keith - phew, almost had to face reality there. Do you people have normal lives or is this it? I'm certainly too busy to keep that close an eye on former, or certainly loaned out players - but if your hatred runs that deep that you can't resist, just carry on, it keeps the rest of us informed
chris Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 andrews goal if you want to see if and 1.30 in, first goal http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eFf_mXP7Y5c
Stuart Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 I believe he was to blame for the recent riots as well. To be fair, I heard that too.

Rover & Out Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 One of my good friends is an Ipswich fan and he seems to think that the two clubs have a agreed a fee for which Keith Andrews could leave permanently. This might be old news or it might simply be speculation. From all accounts, the fans down there seem to like him.

Iceman Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 While I always gave Keef a chance, I think he has already burnt too many bridges, and should never come back to Rovers. The only time he can come back, is too fetch the bottle he threw
Emge Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 From all accounts, the fans down there seem to like him. Good for him! Nice to see that he is appreciated by someone...
pick32 Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 just watched Ireland Russia match an Keith just ran around pointing but in all fairness apart from Dunne and Given they all played awful.
67splitscreen Posted September 8, 2011 Posted September 8, 2011 Jewel would like for keeps. My link A fee would be very nice. Keep banging the goals in and we may have a bidding war.
Balwer Posted September 10, 2011 Posted September 10, 2011 Think Ipswich is a good fit for Keef, average Championship team, that's his level. Any fee would be good, think we've enough midfield cover in the squad not to miss him even for depth.
Jonnolad Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 Ipswich are doing remarkably well considering they're carrying dead wood week on week. You never know, Keith might bizarrely go past us - him up, us down - as them "levels" settle themselves. I'll tell you one thing we have got - fans who know football, that's what. "Keith's left, we'll be brilliant now". We've gone worse - how's that logic work then? Ipswich - up or down? 10 from the last 12 is the kind of points tally we had last under Hughes, I know that much. Club in crisis now they've got the "worst player we've ever had" playing every minute for them? Well it looks the opposite bizarrely. That big old mystery never went away did it
