Teacup Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 This may be a fair guess as Deportivo were relegated, we've been linked with him in the past and Nicko mentioned a left winger. Haha, I did try.. S15 is probably right, usually is anyway.

BangkokRover Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 Would Kean actually play him. Our top scorer could not get a game, so why should Messi walk in to the team?
Mattyblue Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 Exactly, I laughed, he's not going to cut it on a Tuesday night at Stoke.
BuckyRover Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 You guys should stay in this thread. Sounds like you are having a good time.

Waggy76 Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 Alan Shearer aged 21 .......... The greatest player we ever had !!!
rebelmswar Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 A butter pecan triple scoop sunday with marshmallow sauce. Mmmmmm More beer.
Oklahoma Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 I was hoping you'd comment Oklahoma. How was his form last season? Doesnt seem to have been updated on his wikipedia. £17.5m would possibly get him then. Would be a better option to me than Vucinic. Cardozo had a poor season. Like most of the team, actually. He is looking for a big contract for some time now. I don't think he was giving 100% last season. He is very good in free kicks, has a great left foot but a poor right foot. Doesn't move much Honestly, I don't know if Rovers should give that kind of money for him. Like I said, I prefer Falcão, even though he plays for a team I don't like.
pick32 Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 Andre Schurrle to play behind cisse please or on the right.
gumboots Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 Since it's a wish list and not reality I'd like Yoann Gourcuff. If we're not re-signing RSC we ladies need a bit of eye-candy (I am joking)He's lost his way a bit at Lyon and played much better at the less fashionable Bordeaux. Quiet, shy bloke but on his day a very good player. No chance but as I say this is I wish, not i expect.
Veevs Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 My random selection.. Playmakers Kranjcar Mario Götze (though he would cost 15m plus) Mervan Celik (more of a RW) Marvin Martin Midfield Parker (unlikely but sounds like he may be going fairly cheaply) Blaise Matuidi Reo-Cocker (free) Alou Diarra (apparently available on the cheap) Palacious Gago (Most likely bound for liverpool but at 10m or so hmm) David Vaughan LW Dušan Tadić Pablo Piatti Strikers Vagner Love Cisse Dame N'Doye Sturidge (still think 15m would get him if he would be willing to slum it)
Fraserkirky Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 Vagner Love and Papiss Cisse would be a cracking combo up front. Venky's should be willing to give Diego the boat as well, whatever they offered to Ronaldinho in January.
McRovers Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 i'd like to see us go for either danny rose or jose enrique at left back. i'd also like bentley back at the club. we'd probably get him cheap and he'd provide good cover/competition to olsson and hoilett on the wings, i'd bet he still has a decent set piece in him as well. if bentley came i'd also see MGP playing a more central role as he did sometimes under sam, i know he has his critics but MGP is still a good creative midfielder and a good set piece taker, but i don't think he has the legs to play on the wing anymore. along with these i'd also like miranda (or equivalent decent CB)jermaine jones and a striker. so my starting XI would look thus: (New Striker) Kalinic/Rochina Olsson Pedersen/Formica Jones Hoilett Rose Givet Nelson/Hanley Emerton Robinson

TugaysMarlboro Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 I still have my fingers crossed for Cardozo. I really really do.
Teacup Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 I hear Everton need to sell before they can buy, anyone there we should be putting a bid in for?
Teacup Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 Possibly a youngen we could get in for not much money: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rogelio_Funes_Mori His club River Plate just got relegated. I think he has been mentioned a few times on this forum, I guess now is the time to pounce. Meow.
BangkokRover Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 Denilson on his way out of Arsenal, anybody fancy him here at the right price? No he is amazingly slow and can't pass for toffee.
Ectric Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 I know we are not linked with him but would be a good player to have for our midfield.
chaddyrovers Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 We should bought him a couple of seasons ago. He is a goalscoring midfield that we needed then and still need now. I would buy him if Peds go to Gala to play for Tugay
47er Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 Nolan scored more goals last season than all our strikers! From mid-field! Of course he'd get in our side.
