rovertakenmb
In fairness to Kean, he is not responsible for what goes on his Wikipedia page but very interesting how his playing career was reported on Wikipedia in 2010 and how it is reported 18 months later... In 2010 it clearly said that Kean played 88 games for Portuguese side Académica de Coimbra between 1988-91. That actually sounds quite impressive at first glance but 88 games has now been changed to 12 and do you want to know what the standard of football was like in the Portuguese Second Division South Zone (second division split in to three zones) in 1988/89? Check this clip out... What do you think? I can't see Kean but it looks like a cross between Witton Park and the prison out the film "Midnight Express" to me! www.rovertaken.co.uk

owenrilla
Maybe the confusion over his playing career is due to the fact that he spent most of it being Steve Staunton

Pitty
Steve Keans playing career to what he is Manager is a bit irrelevant, he could have been a world beater or a translator but it still doesn't change the fact he is crap.
Lhrover
never mind celtic, steve kean could have played for barcelona, failing that I heard he was once offered to replace slash in guns and roses, but had to turn it down due to the amount of letters he would receive daily... Brfcrule1
How has his head become round? didn't you know it was due to the fact he told so many lies they have been piling up inside his head one day it will explode. I do believe he was with Celtic but was constantly overlooked spent more time on the bench although he reckons in his own head he was the best defender at Celtic I guess he did not produce a tackle like our very own next Chris Smalling that is raved about to this day and given the fact things have gone from bad to terminally worse it is safe to say he probably reckons all you need is one good tackle and that makes you a proper Prem. footballer
