Don't know why you think that TJ cos Appletons team set up and tactics were appalling. He would have taken us down imo.

Agreed, there was nothing from Appleton to suggest he knew how to do anything beyond soak up enormous amounts of pressure and attempt to nick a lucky goal. Problem is to play this way requires players suited to quick, counter-attacking football, the ilk of which we simply don't have.

They have a totally failed vaccine operation Mrs D wants shut down in Switzerland.

There are other reasons for the Zurich visits.

somebody who we cannot discuss, has a headquarters somewhere in Zurich? oh i cant guess anymore Phillip, its too difficult to think what else could be in Switzerland that might interest Venkys? Maybe Chocolate or watches? :P

Apparently Venky's regard their Swiss factory as a success but I understand from within the pharma world it is anything but.

You wouldn't be referring to this by any chance? http://www.kentarogroup.com/index.php?id=2

Why do the Raos have to bother to visit Huber in Switzerland when he was willing to visit India in December 2010? Has there ever been confirmation from Venkys that they have ceased to use Kentaro as their main advisers on football matters?

Mrs Desai's own defence to 'undue influence' from Kentaro is on record as being that she was also there at the meeting and that she was talking. Fair enough. Her cognitive abilities are of course a natural defence from being overtly swayed into a course of action. She was strong willed to keep Kean as manager despite her own family telling her not to.

Margaret Kean was able to persuade her though to keep Kean on so there must be some limits to her defiance. Perhaps it's a case of chatting to her personally and in a positive manner?

The group, however, has given up plans, at least for the time being, to set up a vaccine manufacturing unit in Switzerland due to cost reasons, Rao said.

Kentaro HQ it is then ;)

I wonder if the money they thought they were going to make out of the football club was earmarked to fund setting this up ? Just a thought but wouldn't suprise me.

They should perhaps try a re branding and start manufacturing Chocolate Fireguards. As leading lights in the Business World it would be right up their street.

You could probably talk them into investing millions in a rubber nail factory.

Or maybe, given their area of expertise, they should start delivering chicken lips.

It also requires a five man midfield who can all tackle and defend with strength..... and we didn't have that either. Truth is that it's difficult to find many positives to say about our midfield.

Charismatic Henning talks

The club, which was relegated from the Barclays Premier League last year and finished 17th in the npower Championship, has recently admitted to having "cash-flow problems" and Berg - who also had two spells as a player with Rovers - admits he fears for the club's future.

He said: "There are many, many things at Blackburn that could have been done differently. The way things have happened over the last couple of years there tells you there are things to be done."
