His voice gets right on my nerves, it's like he's got a load of phlegm stuck in the back of his throat. So much so I'm not comfortable listening to him (being Burnley's manager aside).

I heard Dyche interviewed today on Radio Lancs and in my opinion B***ley have found themselves a gem of a manager. I hope he gets a better offer from another club soon.

He's actually the type of manager I thought Appleton was. I was wrong.

That's as maybe - but would you dare tell him so?

In other news Paul Ince has labelled us a long ball side - I'm not sure he understands what he sees on a footie pitch.

You're questioning a guy with such brilliant tactical nouse as:

Paul Ince is the worst manager I've seen at Rovers (and yes that includes him!). Total ineptitude. I don't understand why he's involved with the game in any capacity.

Both Godawful managers but Keane is way more intelligent than Ince. Maybe cos Ince is financially 'comfortable' Ince just wanted the team to be successful. Keane wanted the same and to hell with the 'succesful' bit.

Appleton talked a good game, but ultimatley was a prat. His tactics v millwall are the daftest in the history of football

basically what i said. he seemed to know his stuff, but when it came down to walking the talk, he failed. if he could just have transferred that good fighting talk onto the pitch, then he would have probably have done well.

Appleton had a PR firm behind him telling him the right things to say. Not convinced he has much of a clue at all and his tenure here certainly suggests the only style of football he knows is dull, defensive and defeatist.

2,800 is a reasonable following for Weds. Indeed it is slightly more than we have shifted for the Man City game to date!!

Hopefully we will be close to 18 or 19K on Boxing Day.

I think they'll sell plenty on the day too, easy journey from Sheffield as long as it does'nt snow.

Weds fans are very loyal considering their lack of success in the last 15 years, and some shocking ownership/management,

not exactly Venkyesque, but pretty bad.

It was interesting to hear on Radio Lancs that Jordan Rhodes' Dad is the Sheffield Weds goalkeeping coach.

Never heard of Andy Rhodes ? As a football fan you should have done.

It's been well publicised who his dad was. You need to read the papers.

Most I know only found out via the brief mention in the LET. I don't keep taps on footballers kids.

I knew Rhodes' dad was a footballer, I didn't kmow his biography mind.....
