Strange that they don't sell out at home cup games or in europe, yet half of stockport/manchester wants a ticket for Ewood.

Many a time they didn't sell out their 5k allocation in the Prem never mind the whole end, before the billionaires took over. They obviously see this as a cakewalk and a big day out.

Can someone explain to us newbies who vinjay is please? Feel like Im missing out on some comedy gold here :blink:

He was crazy. He was banned from here before I started coming on here but I know him from other sites.

He hated Man Utd, more than he ever loved us.....he despised the Walker Trust as much as anyone else hates the Venky's.

Then coincidentally, around the same time we were going down, he switched to being a Man City fan.

He was just an absolute loon who would constantly have arguments with people and used the word "parochial" in literally every sentence.

Added to that wasn't it he who was alleged to have bypassed Ewood officials to try and get into a meeting? It was the same night I was looking at JW's statue next to a pony-tailed bloke in shorts (winter) who told me no less than 4 times he 'doesn't go on brfcs anymore' (he'd seen my Ellison 24 shirt).

We must be the only club in the whole league who can't sell out for a game of this magnitude. Shows what a sorry state we are in.

No chance IMO most teams wouldn't sell out for it these days

I'll rephrase, we must be the only team who can't sell half their tickets for a cup game,

local derby against the best team in the country. Doubt anyone can deny that. It's also the only big game we are likely to be involved in all season

Sunderland v Chelsea cup quarter was it ? the other week only about 20k on. Granted a long way for Chelsea but Sunderland have the support. Wait till we have been festering in this division 5 years more and the place will be rocking for a game like this such will be the hunger for a big match.
