All we need is the 6th spot.

I know that we are closer to the 22nd spot and it will be more reasonable to talk about avoiding relegation but I try to stay optimistic.

I really think that we can only play better from here and we have the players that can do that, but maybe I am wrong.

Are you sure ?

What would we do with it,

give GB a life long contract on top of the one he has now ?

Can we try replying without 0 content and sarcasm? We have enough posters who specialise in this already.

We've only scored in 1 of our last 5 games. We must have been starting from a bloody bad place if that's improvement.

Yup. We started in a bloody terrible place.

Now we are in a kind of mediocre place.

If we start scoring goals regularly we might graduate to an okay or even good place.

If it weren't for Rhodes, we'd be right down there in the relegation mix. It's only his goals that are keeping us above water for now. That's in spite of Bowyer as Jordan has consistently found the back of the net for every Rovers manager he's served under.

Let's see how Bowyer fares when he hasn't got Rhodes to fall back on, because even when we had a 40 goal strike partnership last season we STILL had to settle for midtable mediocrity. And yes, full credit to Bowyer for unearthing Gestede in the first place, but in that case perhaps he's better served as a scout than a football manager?

One of the worst games of football I've ever seen.

Once, when Rovers were away at Plymouth, I went to Crown Paints Women's Reserves v St Aiden's Church Women's Cleaners Triallists. Finished 0-0 up at Blacksnape in a blizzard, although Crown Paints did have a good 'goal' ruled out for offside. That was dire, I can tell you.

It does make you feel that way, Tom.

I'm doubley @#/? off today. Found out that the Rotherham game has been moved to the Friday (brought forward from 11th from 12th Dec).

The same night as our works Christmas do...

...at Ewood!!

So I'll be at the ground AND miss the game. FFS!

Priceless. Turns out they've moved the Rotherham game to Friday from Saturday, not to televise it but because our home game against Forest has been moved from Tuesday to Monday for Sky.

This division is @#/?.

Bloody Luxury!

You should have been up at 4am.....

Off down at Plymouth, I bet it was the day Tommy Tynan scored his hatrick and we lost 4-1, long way home that was......

Saw these highlights via the LT - oddly using the Brum version.......

Basic stuff but Duffy should be trained to head the ball downwards when attacking as he's using the same technique as he would when defending, hence he heads the ball up. He is good in the air and could be a regular scorer in the Championship from set-plays.

Watching the highlights the players don't look clever apart from Grant and the keeper.

What surprises me is that no one b*llocks the midfielder who plays the ball across the pitch and plays the team into trouble. Then there's the quick corner where no one supports Craig Conway where there looks to be absolutely no communication within the team.

Shane Duffy observation he looks like a pub player with his bulky size which is something surely the fitness guys at the club need to be working on.

Hehe, I was there when we got beaten 3-0 and Nicky Marker did Ossie Ardiles. Went somewhere else in Devon before the game, so approached Plymouth from the west with Rovers scarves out of the car windows. That WAS a long trip home!

Think the same night my Xmas do usually is also!

The last time a game vs Rotherham was moved to a Friday was because of the Jetskiing championships clashing....

Now we were guff that night!!!

Tynan was like Andy Ritchie, always scored against us, I bet plenty say the same about Garner.

But going back to Plymouth, I did see Sellars score from a corner, the wind was that strong it could have been the same day.

I was there the day Sellars scored from a corner - the ball turned 90 degrees as it passed the near post on a gust. As I remember it the score was 2-2. Guess it can't have been the same game we lost 3-0 then! Like CLB I came up from Cornwall that day after a week's holiday

Funny you mention that about Duffy, mate brought it up the other day about how we were saying you could tell he'd come from a Prem team when he arrived here with the fantastic athletic shape he looked to be in. Mate said at the time give him a few months and he won't be in the same condition

That game moved cos of jetskiing was Doncaster a couple of years ago. Don't blame you for mixing them up though - there could hardly be two more similar games. Both 2-0, Rovers dire in both, against newly-promoted (I think) teams who weren't very good but worked their nuts off, both in S Yorkshire, both in new(ish) stadiums, both night games......

Ha, you got me! So it was.

In any event, I walked away from both stadiums feeling similarly dejected....
