Venky’s, HMRC…The Plot Thickens ?

Recommended Posts

Just seen the twitter post. Fucking unbelievable. As JB states, how has that bypassed the local media?

Let's say Rovers are indeed wound up and cease, is there any financial benefits Venkys can get either as individuals or towards their other businesses as a result?

If not, I'm at a loss as to why they're still here.

The Final Countdown eh? Its been heading in the direction for over a decade but this season it seems to be very very close.

Everything we feared when Venkys took over is finally coming to pass.

We've no money, barely a squad and poor home support.

Worst of all we have piss poor owners who can be guaranteed to make the wrong decisions and take the Club down.

Presumably because April was pre one of their Indian court hearings, so no cash flow? But then again wasn’t it July we were told all this palava started?

But in the here and now as long as they keep getting the green light every 3 months from the court this ridiculous state of affairs will continue and any winding up petitions etc will be batted away?

I suppose these green lights are continually given, until they aren’t.

Protests are fine but it's answers that are required. This is potentially a big story that poses so many questions.

Why was the club threatened with the winding up order? What are happened since then? Has the threat been dropped or is it still ongoing? Or has the threat developed into an actual winding up order?

Waggott is the CEO. He will know. He can't hide.

This was my first thought.

We're nowhere near the end game with Venkys if they can continue to do this every 3 months.

Now the court accepted the first one I don't see how or why they will reject further applications.

No sunrise on the horizon folks.

That see you next Tuesday needs booting out of the club just as far as our owners.

January 2023 is when the restrictions first came into place, but we managed for a number of months with EFL payments / early ST sales / etc.

Just think about the contempt these owners and Waggott must have for the fans that this stuff has been going on for getting on a year, if not more, and none of them have had the decency to even mention it to fans.

Matters that could determine the clubs ability to function or even stay in business, owners and CEO don't consider us worthy of it being mentioned.
